Alaska Poll Shows Miller Third--Elevating The Democrat!

Not even Rand Paul is staking out a vaguely Libertarian position, and there is political enough to spread around!

Large Central Government, with major social spending, public works, and incomes redistribution policy: Is called on earth, properous and productive civilization.

The Tea Party can actually, do a Lincolnesque: And ship themselves to where they seem to want to live! Maybe they'll even find some orphans!

Rand Paul is now running against Rand Paul:

"The race remains Solid Republican in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings because if Murkowski wins she is expected to caucus with the GOP in the Senate."

Election 2010: Alaska Senate - Rasmussen Reports

It's a Republican seat NOW. Seeing a Tea Party nut fail would just be a bonus.

so for you, it's not the best person for the seat, it's just as long as ANYONE from the tea party loses, that's ok.

Democrat party motto
Party over COUNTRY FOLKS.

Murkowski is a Republican you daft cow.

Perceptually challenged NYcarbineer poster seems unphased with the fact of the Euro Recovery, including Greece, and the drop in new claims in US unemployment claims: Which NTcarbineer poster, cleary opposes, supporter of "No!" and "None of that should be allowed to happen in America!"

In fact, probably NYcarbineer poster has voted that way already! That is what love is in that household, and the kind of household that it is, and what it believes in!

After Alaska tosses out the bogus write-ins, then clearly there will be a Senator McAdams from Alaska!

Sounds like a good ole Democrat.

Successful, modern, civilizations have large central governments which spend on social programs, public works, and so as to redistribute income. They are called Welfare States, or Socialist.

The Tea Party is for none of that.

That leaves the clear alternative!

(Great Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino: Now have tourists likely ready to trade!)

You should at least have some vague familiarity with civilizations besides the USSR or Communist China when you make these statements

May I recommend you move to the perfect welfare state called Greece.

Feel free.

Tell us all why Greece went under?

Here's a little help:

A. They don't control their currency.
B. They took out huge loans to buy big shiny weapon systems for their military.

Any questions?

To write in your representative is a sign of conscious debate. But was not just a few weeks ago the person the people wanted was the Brawny man?

Democrat winning Alaska is like China electing Ron Paul. Believe me that if Murkowski was not running, the Democrat would be trailing Joe Miller. In fact, who is this mystery democrat that is running anyway? Is he like Kendrick Meek down here in Florida, running just to let people know that they have a viable leftist option? Why not quit, that is what Democrats tell third party candidates when they suspect the third party option would ruin the Dems chances. But wait, I am asking Dems to practice what they preach! Ha Ha, that was a good joke was it not?

I saw this this morning on another blog I follow. It certainly shakes things up.

I still think that Murkowski should win this one in any kind of reasonable scenario. The problem is that should Murkowski win, she'll end up either fighting GOP lawyers for every single last ballot, or DNC voters depending on who second place is.

Folks here wonder why third party candidates aren't viable. Watch this race. If election law gave any sort of equal shot to a non-party affiliate Murkowski would be running away with this race.

Here's what I want, I want Joe Miller and the Democrat to pull in DEAD even like within a few hundred votes either way and Murkowski to beat them by about two or three percent and then I want to see the lawyers on both sides go absolutely nuts for weeks on Murkowski. I'm sorry I'm such a politics nerd, that'd be the gift that keeps on giving this election cycle.

Meanwhile Joe Miller and Ken Buck are having the hardest time of the tea party candidates. Christine O'Donnell is and has been just out of the race for a while. While the candidates that do have a chance Sharon Angle who's been hitting her opponent on the economy, economy, economy, economy is widening her lead over Harry Reid. Toomey who's been hitting Sestak on fiscal responsability is winning by a comfortable margin. Rand Paul, the libertarian bhudda worshipper is beating the crap out of Conway no matter what Conway tries to throw at him. The northern fiscal conservatives like Ayotte seem to be doing well.

Does anybody notice a trend here?

When the tea party talks about the economy they win. When they start talking about church and state like Ken Buck, how much they can't stand people like Paladino, and religious rightism like O'Donnell they start to slip. Could this be a sign of the resurgance of libertarianism? I hope so. Let this be a lesson to both parties: it's the economy stupid.

Probably the good news is that the Tea Party lunatic has far less a chance, and so the race is between the Write-In party candidate, and the Democrat actually on the ballot.

Since the whole election, in Alaska, is already in the courts: Then any outcome soon is far more improbable, than it is probable. The courts are generally a more drawn-out process. Validating spellings on the sizable number of ballots isn't going to help. The possibility is raised of televised ballot counting, with National News. . .people. . .in attendance.

Even opinion polls are sometimes more improbable, than they are probable. Since there is a Tea Party sense of Alice In Wonderland about it: Then it may be useful to recall that polling is based on probabilities and consider them to be just like elections in Republican Alaska(?). . .and Republican bridges, built in Alaska(?)!. . .and just like elections in Republican Florida to boot!
