    Young said: "This is not an environmental disaster, and I will say that again and again because it is a national [natural?] phenomena. Oil has seeped into this ocean for centuries, will continue to do it. During World War II there was over 10 million barrels of oil spilt from ships, and no natural catastrophe. ...     Not that he needs to be made to look more ridiculous, but ironically he's constantly hounding Washington for more disaster funds for Alaska for one reason or another.

    This is why Congress needs to do away with earmarks. This dipshit has been challenged multiple times from both the Democrats and his own party in primaries, but he keeps getting reelected. Why? Because he brings home the bacon.

    Alaska keeps getting their state welfare paid for by the rest of us while we get plagued by this man's stupidity casting votes in the Congress that affect us all.
