He is a white man in covered with Black skin. Ever seen a Black man with a crew cut? He don’t realize that the Declaration of Independence go no apply to Blacks and to him. Than or today. If a white man and a black man applies for the same jobs, having the same qualifications, the white man will get the job. So what is the incentive for Black men to stop dealing in drugs and go to college? Just because he has succeeded does not mean every Black man can. How many butts did he have to kiss alone the way?
I remember being a Native American in the 60s applying for a bed pan job advertised at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles and after getting there was told there were no longer taking application and after getting back home called and they were accepting applications. Same thing happen at the telephone company advising for operators. I was not good enough to work there but was good enough to have my baby delivered there. Moved to Reno in the 70s and could not bet a jobs making change at a casino because patrons felt it was bad luck to take change from a person of color. I did go on to college and got a job but had to work twice as hard as others to prove my ability and worth. All men may be created equal but not all are created equally.
