al Qaeda number two man killed by drone strike

I think you'll find, it was....

While the success of the mission and execution of the mission was absolutely team six-Obama did make the decision to go in, rather than to send a drone (or to simply do nothing-as it was in Pakistan). Presidents are the commander and chief of the military, and for major missions like this-they do have the final say (same thing with Truman and the atom bomb, or Bush deciding to go into Iraq). To simply say it was 100% Team Six isn't true-but giving all the credit to Obama isn't true either. The truth is Obama made a difficult decision-and in hindsight it turned out to be the correct decision. Team Six carried out their job great-and even adapted to changing circumstances on the ground, and of course them carrying out the job so well makes Obama look good. That's the way it always is.
