Another victory for Obama's drone war....

CNN) -- Abu Yahya al-Libi, the No. 2 man in al Qaeda and a longtime public face of the terror network, is dead, White House spokesman Jay Carney confirmed Tuesday.

Al-Libi's death was "another serious blow to core al Qaeda," said Carney, who was unable to provide further details.

"His death is part of the degradation taking place in core al Qaeda in the last several years," Carney said.

Earlier Tuesday, U.S. officials said that al-Libi was killed by a CIA drone strike in Pakistan launched Monday.

Al-Libi's death marks one of the most significant blows to al Qaeda since the U.S. military killed Osama bin Laden in a daring nighttime raid in Pakistan a year ago.

Bush's theme was "Wanted Dead or Alive"

Obama's theme is "Wanted Dead Not Alive"

Kill:Boom2: all radical terrorists and those that support them!

The method makes no difference at all. Just kill them...by whatever means are available....wherever they may hide!

...and it doesn't matter what the Pakistani people think. They harbor terrorism...they may be in the line of fire!

The only way we were able to get bin Laden was to NOT tell Pakistan what we were doing!

Fuck political correctness in the war on terrorism. There is no balancing adherence to "playing fair" coming from the other side. We have no obligation to "be fair". We have an obligation to protect our children and grandchildren from radical Muslim terrorists!

Geez, how many number 2 men does Al Qaeda have??
In what seems to be the only way we find out about who might be the second most powerful man in the al-Qaeda terrorist network, the U.S. is claiming that they've killed Sakhr al-Taifi--al-Qaeda's supposed second in command.

In case you were wondering, the U.S. has been efficient in taking out Al Qaeda's alleged number twos--Atiyah Abd al-Rahman last August, Abu Qaswarah in 2008, and Hamed Jumaa Farid al-Saeedi was arrested in 2006.

It must not take long to train someone to make #2 in that group.

A lot, since we keep killing them.

Thanks for playing!

Good.

But, going after one terrorist at a time is hardly gonna solve anything. We need to play hardball... with our military, with our diplomacy, and with every means at our disposal. I don't care whether the Islamic countries love us or hate us... as long as they fear us.

I guess we can't interrogate them any longer, so might as well kill them
I think if a person has been positively identified as a radical terrorist, it is quite proper to kill him without warning or fanfare. Then pick another one! Keep on pickin' 'em until none can be identified.

Yeah.....that's what we've BEEN hearing, from you folks.

Obama's drone war?

Lemme tell ya something asswipe -

The military thinks this asswipe is a fucking joke.

Worse than Bill Clinton.

But you keep on stroking yourself - thinking the Chickenhawk pussy is a war hero.

God....It sucks being a terrorist nowdays

I'd prefer trials, but that may not be possible. I note again, many thought the destruction of al Qaeda was more important than any other issue....until January 2009, ODD.
