    I'll bump this one.

What a complete disgrace for the dorkocrats if he pulls this off (and it's looking good for him).

If Romney really rams home MO., it's almost a given.

The saddest thing is that a piece of filth like that has any support.

Its simply due to the fact that the people who actually agree with him (and there are) were already voting for him, and the people who disagree 100% with him were already voting against him anyway. That leaves the remainder, who while they disagree with him, are not single issue voters, and will weigh the statement less than his other positions.

The effect of his statement will actually DECREASE as the election approaches, as it becomes old news.

RCP has taken the race from leans to democrat to toss-up. Internal state polling has Akin starting to roll up.

If dems stay home because Romney is a lock (and it looks like he is)....it's over for C.M.

As to sad that he has any support (see pre-occupied's statement)....tough crap.

He's GOP and that's better than another Obama ass-kisser.

What is so sad is that the dems might lose this seat to someone who has no business in the race.

    BBBBBUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTT......

    You can thank Clair.

She helped put him up there. If she'd kept her nose out of it, one of the more qualified people would have come in and been a better senator....but she knew she would get stomped.

    She rolled the dice.

And you may be paying the price.

His personal opinion won't matter as much as what McCaskill will DO as senator. After all, it's the same opinion that Aiken always had. It's not like he is going to pass laws regulating when women are fertile.

Please cite a source that shows the Akin internal reporting showing him starting to roll up. The most recent poll of Missouri from Ras showed Romney +3, hardly a lock.
