Poor Al and Janeane. You really have to hurt for the Lefty bloviators over at Air America. They're not doing too well in the DC market.

This from today's Style section of the Washington Post:

Air America, the liberal talk network carried on WWRC-AM (1260), went from bad to nonexistent. After WWRC recorded a mere fraction of a rating point in the spring with syndicated shows from the likes of lefty talkers Al Franken, Janeane Garofalo and Stephanie Miller, Arbitron couldn't detect a measurable listenership for the station this time around.

Static would fare about as well.

History lesson 101...originally it was a Air Support mission to South East Asia...VN era...it was funded under the CIA budget..the likes of Franken et al tried their best to become 'Covert Agents' LOL...Air America gave up the title to idiots so they can continue to make 'Fools' out of themselves! See Hollywood film..."Air America" to try to duplicate the past is fun on film....but not in reality! Adios Al baby!

Thanks for the post, Zoom. They "couldn't detect a measurable listenership."
In my best redneck twang, "That's funny right there, I don't care who you are."

New soundbyte for their advertisement...

"We don't need no stinkin' listeners!"

or

"Soros will keep paying us so why does it matter that we suck?"

I listened to that awful program while I was in Dallas for 4 days. Jerry Springer has his own show, what does that tell you? I had never heard it and was amazed at how the entire show, didn't matter what host, was nothing. . . NOTHING but Bush bashing. If The President would disappear tomorrow they would have no content.
I heard Randi Rhode's show, crap. Stephanie Miller, who I liked a few years ago when she had her own show out of L.A. was worse than boring, it was like listening to 100 hands scratching a chalk board. But the worst was Mike Malloy, if this prick would have been standing in front of me I would have had a hard time not killing him.

Just so people get the idea, if one of the more crazy DUers ever got their own radio show, Mike Malloy would be the result.

I am so bummed ........ :)

of course they aren't doing well on the market. They have no freaking clue how the market works. That is the problem with socialists. They expect people to just listen to them without giving people a reason to listen. They expect people to give money to them without advertising and selling what you are saying. Any idiot can bash bush (in fact, every idiot does). That doesn't mean people want to listen to bush bashing all day. when all you are trying to sell is anger its hard to keep people angry all the time.
