Ahh, those Good Olde Days, of Bush

Ah yes, with unemployment of 9.7%, national debt increasing minimum of 1.7 trillion this year, government run spandex health care, in your face socialism (gone wild), our brave Soldiers dying and injured in Afghanistan in a war Obama's uncommitted to winning but ego and politically driven to save face, slapstick foreign policy and the list drags on...and on... and on...etc... :dig:

The American people in a state of foreboding, chaos and fear. Obama and the Democratic Party Policy of insulting and degrading the people they are sworn to represent. :eusa_silenced: (their trying)

Then, you have the Crybaby Obama policy of just blame Bush.. :eusa_naughty: (Bush did it!)

One has to wonder, in retrospect and comparison, when people are going to miss The Good Olde Days of George W. Bush...! :udaman:

I actually predicted that this sentiment might come about at some point, but we're not there yet. The interesting thing is that if this ever came to fruition, it would open the door for Jeb. But something tells me it's not going to happen.

The good ol' days when our president enjoyed metaphorically spitting in the face of every other nation on earth, when I couldn't travel abroad without people automatically sneering at me because of the extreme antipathy that president brought against our country worldwide, when we got into two elective wars and matched them with unsustainable tax cuts that we're paying for right now. When fiscal policy took a back seat to trying to force a feeding tube down Terri Schiavo's throat for political posturing...

I say good riddance.

I miss Bush II and his crew.

I miss the drop dead certainty of knowing who was destroying my nation like I knew back when Bush II and Cheyney and Rummie and Condi were at the helm.

They hated Americans for our freedoms and they didn't even pretend to be anything but what they were --anti Americans seeking to bankrupt our nation and enslave our people one vile anti-democratic, anti-working Americans policy after the other

They made it easier for me to understand who the real terrorists were.

Now we come to find that the real terrorists threatening the American way of life weren't the Alqada or their Islamofacists, but instead were the people running the White House, and America's Wall Street and banking community

extreme antipathy :disbelief: Ya, I guess it's better to have a President running around the world like a whipped puppy blaming America, with the added bonus of you traveling the world to the sounds of laughter.

The rest of your post I would love to engage but alas it's late and I'm, well, bushed.

Endless investigations? Of what? Bush had the veto pen and he used it.

You want change, far rightoids? The Obama health care train is on the tracks head right at you. It will display a two-tier option. You better get on it or out of the way because it will smash you otherwise. It will pass by the end of the year, and the poor and working classes will turn out in record numbers to make sure the GOP does not get a majority and take away the newly insured's health care.

The stoopidcons are so on the wrong side of history. Two centuries from now the historians will be studying the politics of Obama and shaking their heads over the mistakes of the cons, saying, "What a bunch of pathetic bozos."

The CBO projects the cost of the health Care plan to be a trillion dollars. If you pay taxes, your share of this is about $3333.00.

Are the "pathetic Bozos" the ones paying the $3333.00, the ones getting the benefits of the payments or the ones who will need to sacrifice every other government program in the future to support it?

How's the prototype program making out in Maine?

That's a tad simplistic. The laws that allowed the financial industry to do what it did were passed by Congress. Braney Frank wants many of those practices restarted because people who could not repay loans now cannot get loans. He FEELS that this is unfair.

These laws were changing to what they became over the course of decades, not months. Congressional oversight is just a fancy way to say contribute to my re-election campaign.

The financial woes of this country are present around the globe. With no stimulus package, the crisis that started in September 2008 would have taken 12 to 18 months to hit bottom and bounce. The stimulus package had no stimulative effect and the sycophantic thieves who passed it and signed it knew that it would not stimulate and that the economy would right itself in spite of their work.

What they did not reckon was the effect that the cost of this millstone would have on the credit industry. We can only hope that the industrious nature of American will overcome the idiocy of our leaders.

Yea i always find it humorous and a bit bizarre when i see Hopey Changeys on here spinning that everything is just rosy. These are the same people who used to routinely come to message boards like this and screech incessantly about how awful it was under Bush's 4% Unemployment and Record High Stock Markets. Now you see em here trying desperately to spin their Hopey Changey's 9.7% Unemployment,Endless Corporate bailouts,Massive Debt, and Weak Stock Market. Yea i have to agree with you on this one...Ahh,those Good Ole Days.

Okay, this must be a put-on, where's that slightly grumpy yet fair and well balanced fellow?.... :eusa_eh:

"All aboard" I don't think so, maybe you didn't notice but Obama started off on the high speed rail but has been switched to a puffer and well, it's near out a steam..! If fact, you could walk around it and ogle the history.

I didn't know Bush had the ability of fortune telling, perhaps Obama should have borrowed one of Bush's crystal balls, eh...!

I guess anything short of telling the rest of the world to bow down and kiss his ass is blaming America?

What do they have to laugh at? The fact that we're not trying to play "my way or the high way" with everybody anymore?

1)Ass kissing...Why not?.. If he expects it from the American people, seems only fair..

2)Highway...America is still the Greatest country in the world, the only Superpower, were not some 3rd world country, at least not yet but then again if Obama and the Democratic Party have their way, who knows..

3)laughter...Oh come on, that was for your enjoyment. I have noticed a lack of humor with Democrats of late, how would you explain that?

Average Dimwitted Hopey Changey Sycophant: "Bush 4% Unemployment and Record Stock Markets = BAAAAAD!!" But "Hopey Changey 9.7% Unemployment,Massive Debt, and Weak Stock Market = GOOOOOD!!" Sorry but i do have to say that most Hopey Changey sycophants really are pretty disingenuous and hypocritical. These are the same people who used to come on message boards like this screeching incessantly about how awful it was living with Bush's 4% Unemployment and Record High Stock Markets. Now they come on message boards trying to spin Hopey Changey's miserable mess. I'm just not buying their spin and many other Americans aren't buying it either.
