Four senators on the far right or libertarian wing won't support the Senates AHCA bill right now. Add that to the four senators in the moderate wing that are having problems with the bill being tough in the medicaid area, seeing how the two groups compromise their problems is going to be interesting.

Four Republican senators announced they will not support the Senate's current Obamacare replacement plan and will push for changes.

Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Ron Johnson and Mike Lee say it does not go far enough to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Paul tells reporters he does not want to defeat the bill.

And the plan is liked by the health industry
Senate's plan to replace Obamacare eases some health industry fears, sparking a rally

Health insurance and hospital stocks surged following the release of the Senate's plan to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The bill funds subsidy payments through 2021, which is favorable for insurers.

However, there are still planned Medicaid cuts that could be a risk for insurance companies and hospitals.

They will lose even more voters if they simply repeal ACA.

Obama attacks Republican health bill as 'massive transfer of wealth' to the rich

“The Senate bill, unveiled today, is not a healthcare bill,” Obama wrote. “It’s a massive transfer of wealth from middle-class and poor families to the richest people in America.”

“Simply put, if there’s a chance you might get sick, get old, or start a family, this bill will do you harm,” he added, while highlighting some of the more contentious provisions within the legislation, such as tax breaks to top earners and drug and insurance companies, and the potential gutting of coverage for pre-existing conditions, pregnancy and mental health.

“Small tweaks over the course of the next couple of weeks, under the guise of making these bills easier to stomach, cannot change the fundamental meanness at the core of this legislation.”

The Senate bill does not repeal ObamaCare.

The rubes are being hoaxed. Again.

GOP leaders have a tough task ahead to win enough support for Obamacare replacement
  • Republicans have 52 senators, and need 50 votes to pass the bill.
  • Differences between GOP conservatives and moderates made drafting the bill difficult.
  • Those differences could also doom chances of the bill passing.
There is going to be a Replacement not a Repeal, guys. And . . .

It baffles me how any responsible media outlet can call either the House or Senate bill a "replacement" or a "repeal".

They can only get away with it because they know with absolute certainty Trump's Chump's won't read a single word of the bills. They will just parrot what they are told to parrot, and bleev what they are told to bleev.

I don't think there is a Trump Chump alive who will read the bill.

"It's longer than a tweet."

Looks like they tried to make things look nice for the votes with the different levels of republicans.. in that case no one is ever going to be happy with the whole thing.

Chuck Schumer read the GOP health bill and said it's a cold, heartless monstrosity. (it's exactly Obamacare with a few minor tweaks)

It's a huge smoke screen...either repeal it or just let Obama care die.

.

you can't put a band-aid on a torn artery.

As long as "someone" has to pay for Pre-existing conditions and 30-50 million illegals who bum-rush the emergency room........that cost is passed on to the Tax Paying Citizens, it will be painful.

Not to mention the stacks and stacks of red-tape paperwork to get a simple visit or test done. I am sure you have all dealt with some of this "system"? Anything the GOVT gets involved in costs at least 2X.

It's all for show. A desperate attempt to keep their place at the public trough.

Mark my words, every single Repub will vote to take from the poor and give to the rich because that's what Rs do.

Lyin Ted handed these out today in Senate lunch. How he can get to yes.

Trumpkins eat up lies like this.

Everything that's wrong with ObamaCares was done by Repubs. Now they've taken those things and enlarged Yarmouth beyond belief. The whole idea is to take away from regular people, and give to the wealthy.

Why did they exempt themselves? Why do they get to keep ObamaCares while they take it away from us? Be sure to read the changes they made to their version. They had no problem fixing it for themselves and their families so why do they refuse the same for us and for the very poor?

Little known fact, but prior to Obamacare anyone who didn't have health insurance just died and there was nothing that could have been done.

150 million on Medicaid & Medicare and growing.

Republicans will not repeal Obamacare.

Government run health care is already here

We lost
