Rev. Wright Says 'Them Jews' Won't Let Obama Talk to Him

In a racially charged interview, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright said that President Obama hasn't spoken to him since they parted ways last year, because "them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me."

He suggested White House advisers were keeping the two separate.

"Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office," Wright said, according to Virginia's Daily Press. "They will not let him ... talk to somebody who calls a spade what it is."

Once again...

The people who preach about tolerance are the most intolerant people.

Just another example of what a stand up guy this idiot is...

Could you imagine if a Republican said this??????

I don't believe Wright has ever preached tolerance.

Aside from that - he's not an elected official so who the hell cares what he says?

Barack Obama does, or did. He sat in Rev. Wright's pew for 20 years.

You've must have missed the parts where he repudiated Wright's views.

When? Only after Wright got outed? When it was politically expedient?

How about this, moron. Barack Obama repudiated his father's Muslim background during the election, but then turned on that and used it in the middle east.

So what is a repudiation of convenience worth?

Yeah politicians tend to do things like attempt to distance themselves from all the radical, nutjobs in there past when they get the itch to run for office. Unfortunately President Obama followed the same tact as his predecessor when he actually got into office, namely he just found a new batch of radical nutjobs to bring with him.

Wright is an asshole preacher who thinks that everyone but his "kind" are evil. No one but his blind followers care about a word he says.

You mean "blind followers" like President Obama until his association to the Reverend became a political liability?

Meh, I haven't said much good about Obama either.

I wasn't implying that you did :) , I just found it incredibly funny how quickly the Obama campaign attempted to distance themselves from the Rev. once his radical notions hit the mass media.

1. Unless you can show me statements made by Obama that show he shares the same views expressed in Wright's more extreme sermons - who cares? It's little more then an attempt at "guilt by association"

2. The rest - it's politics and Obama is no different then a host of other politicos (left and right) - remember McCain and Hagee? It's not something nice but it's reality and it's not going to change.

3. When did he "repudiate" his father's Muslim background?
