What's great about this is that cutting her own salary actually helped balance the budget.

This, in my opinion, is what being a president should be all about: Looking out for the best interest of a nation, not fattening your own wallet or wallet of just your cronies!

I would like to see president Joyce Banda of Malawi awarded a Nobel prize befitting such a selfless and noble act. Well done, president Joyce Banda!
