Tens of thousands of Palestinians and their families have suffered from the humiliation brought on by a single law, one that Israel uses to jail people without charges.

Ramallah – There is no doubt that the historic hunger strike by Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan, a leading member of Islamic Jihad – which lasted for 66 days – cast a light on the injustice of the occupation’s administrative detention law.

Now female prisoner, Hana Shalabi, is doing the same. She has just completed 28 days of an open-ended hunger strike which began with her arrest on February 16. She is striking in protest against her arrest, method of interrogation, and strip search.

"administrative detention," which allows for the detention of Palestinians for up to 6 months without a charge. Worse yet, the period can be repeatedly renewed, completely circumventing due process.

Israel in its quest to eliminate Palestinian idenity, dehumanizes them as a matter of stratergy to eliminate their presense...all part of the slow motion genocide so the world will not notice.

It's all a David Copperfield illusion. But it's better than what Moslem Arabs have planned for Israel and the Jews. Don't you agree?

You really think the Palestinians want equal rights for all? The Palestinians who are Muslims (which the majority are by an enormous percentage) want those non Muslims to be the Dhimmis of the Muslims. Look at how the Muslims treat the minorities in Muslim countries. Have your eyes even been closed to what is happening to the Copts?

Of course. The "Palestinians" are simply trying to bring equal rights to the Israeli.

Well guess what ?
If there were no suicide bombings or terrorist attacks there would be 0 Palestinian prisoners. And this law would have never existed.

Whenever Palestinians would think that building their own future is more important then destroying Israel's this law will become unnecessary.
But the Palestinians actively planing to commit terrorist attacks within Israel, a law such as this is the lesser evil.

This law may be a lesser evil for the Israeli occupyers...but the UN has condemned these acts...in fact Israeli PM's including Natenyahu have avoided certain countries for fear of arrest of War Crimes...

And someday they will pay, just like the former Nazis do today.

Administrative detention is controversial but not uncommon. Several other democracies use it in cases involving security or illegal immigration, including Australia, Ireland, UK, US and India.

It is illegal in Palestine.

For example if it were the Palestinians making the arrests they would just murder the suspects. Just like they did with Fatah. No Judicial proceedings, no proof of guilt just a bullet in the head in the open street.

Your funny, "Administrative detention" is illegal in Palestine , however the slaughter of fellow Palestinians on the streets without Judicial proceeding is perfectly OK.

And tossing them from the roofs is a not uncommon Hamas procedure.

Bullshit. It is a commonplace practice in both the West Bank and Gaza. In both places it is one of the ways these gangs intimidate their critics into silence.

Illegal detention is carried out regularly by the illegal government in the West Bank but I don't see much of that in Gaza.

You

I'm sure the Hamas run everything they do by you first.

Do you have a report on arrests in Gaza?

Hamas arrests male hairdresser for Gaza woman's haircut
BBC News - Hamas arrests male hairdresser for Gaza woman's haircut

It's a 'legal' arrest , but funny as hell
