(Washington, D.C., 5/6/12) Responding to unconfirmed reports President Obama kicked off his re-election campaign in a half-empty stadium at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, response to the photograph has been swift. Ohio will play an important part in the election of 2012 as it's considered a swing state. According to our sources, a spokesman for the campaign called the allegations of a half-empty stadium “ludicrous”. His statement, made on condition of anonymity, follows: “Attempts to paint this kickoff re-election effort as a failure fall far short of reality. Had the photographer taken his picture 3 hours later, the world...

Obama is not the blank canvas that liberals can paint their dreams and aspiration onto anymore. He's got a record now, and people aren't stupid.

Thousands Turn Out for Obama, But Ohio Arena Goes Unfilled - ABC News
In Ohio, Obama wasn’t able to fill the stands at the 18,300-seat Schottenstein Center (about 4,300 seats were empty).
Obama campaign aides privately suggested the OSU venue might have been a bit outsized, while citing the weather (thunderstorms) in Richmond for dispersing the extra crowds expected there.

i just cant wait to hear the stories coming in all summer of Obama going to stadiums and only 1/2 or less seats are filled. Cant wait to see how MSNBC spins it, while at the same time Romney is packing them in in all swing states.

Obama is out of steam before the head of steam was ever built.

He's toast and he knows it. LOOK for his rhetoric to go UP a few notches.

he is yet to campaign in upstate Pennsylvania dominated by coal,,,well, more like "X-Coal" workers. what? Obama is terrified of campaigning to an angry crowd of average working americans? In a way, I am pushing for a Romney/McDonnell ticket, that should easily give Romney that entire rust belt/mid-southeastern belt.
