The protests also promise to shed light on the reality of life for working families in the city of Indianapolis. Unemployment is at 13.3 percent, with unemployment for African-American families at 21 percent.

Two of every five African-American families with a child under 5 live below the anemic poverty line. Such pain amidst the gloss of the Super Bowl and the prospect of right-to-work legislation is, for many, a catalyst to just do something.

I have a question. Why is the fact that unemployment is so high in Indiana the result of a bill that just passed this week? Did the businesses fire all those poor black people so they could hire whites that work for less money after they busted the unions?

It's all about busting unions, cutting wages and impacting the quality of life.

Not good for rebuilding the economy.

How many want to work for less?

Why should union people work for less?

This is not just about breaking down wages for unions it is across the board!

No answer as to when the Republicans got a time machine?

And this has to do with a brand new bill, how?

I guess everyone (except for the evil rich) is a victim in the liberal universe.

this should endear the OWS and Unions with the people

people will get a clue they really don't give a shit about you or your lives.

I hope a couple of dozen Occu-tards run on to the field during the game to protest.

Cause I'm sure they will receive a warm welcome from the estimated 80,000 fans in the stadium for stopping the game.

A lot of people who participate and attend the superbowl are part of the evil rich. Could cause some friction.

If they run out on the field, I wonder how the media will be able to black it out.

They've made a policy of not showing people who run out on the field for many years now. If someone does...the people in the stadium will see it but chances are nobody watching on TV will. You'll probably hear some loud boos and announcers talking about "idiots".

They're not being asked to work for less.
They are losing their automatic power to coerce people to join and have dues taken from thier paychecks involuntarily.
Of the midwestern iron-belt states Indiana leads in attracting new businesses and budgetarily we are in the black, while before the election of Daniels we were in the red.

Why does no one ever ask - with this 'great society' bullshit - why 2 out of 5 African American families with kids under the age of 5 fall below the poverty line?

Enough of partisan bullshit, enough of meaningless protests.... ask the hard questions and demand answers from all your politicians.

Did you see the streaker in 2004? The game is on a delay, and they can cut to the announcers if anyone storms the field.

Why? Haven't they heard, OWS is dead? The new Democrat Talking-Points are 'HOORAY FOR WALL STREET!!' Guess they didn't get the memo. Here, allow your good buddy Bill Maher to explain...

Just let these assholes screw up the Super Bowl and they WILL find out what protest is all about.
Not to worry!!

The pro-life folks will cancel-them-out, if you're lucky!
