Hooray for Homelessness ?

And you morons wonder why normal people realize you hate the poor? You fucking cheer when affordable housing disappears, you hate the lower middle class because they don't pay taxes, and you think the best way to get the working poor to work even harder is to take some money from them.

Oh oh, that means the world is now just a little bit better, right? Oh no wait, it is still the same. Good win there, you made things no different.

And yet some people (probably this guy) will continue to assert they are a powerful and devious group rigging the coming election for Obama with millions of fraudulent votes.

Affordable housing is not getting closer because ACORN is gone. It is getting closer because the housing bubble burst and now the market is going through a correction. When you have an economy where people are making money on just buying a house and then selling it and producing nothing you are in trouble. This is why the stock market busts all the time. You have people making tons of money just shifting money around. It does not produce anything. It is pure gambling and someone eventually has to pay for it.

Now's a great time to buy a house! Unfortunately thanks to the housing bust, it's a bad time to rent. Government regulation didn't help on this issue.

It's true what you say about the stock market or any industry. When people aren't producing anything, it's fake value that's being created.. and what goes up must come down.

Yet according to the right, all that moving around of money in the stock market should be taxed at a special, low rate.

In it's housing efforts ACORN was dedicated to fighting the practice of redlining where banks simply refused to lend based on location alone. I guess now the banks can go back to deserting certain areas to crumble and decay without that pesky fairness in lending thing they hate so much.

I'm a landlord. Please tell me what government regulation has been added lately that affects me.

I would love it to change, but it won't because we allow our government to be run by the greed for this profit. This is the american dream, money for nothing.

Americans don't like corruption. Why is your anger not directed at the corrupt soulless politicians who use the plight of people's homelessness as a medium or vehicle to direct taxpayer funds to cronies as well as taxpayer funds to a political party? If affordable housing for all was the goal, how or why could corruption BR part of the outcome?

Any day the republican party wants to drop the act of actually caring about the homeless when pandering for votes then you can ask that question, but since both sides play for the poor vote when in front of poor people your point is wrong.

Sorry homeless people, we can't help you put a roof over your head till we end all corruption first!

Or in other words...

HOORAY FOR HOMELESSNESS!

BTW, what percentage of people working for ACORN Housing were convicted of corruption charges? 99%? 50%? 10%? What is it? I'm just curious what degree of purity an organization has to have before they should be allowed to help homeless people out.

Both sides do play to the poor vote, but there's a key difference: Democrats pity the poor, Republicans despise them. The former is a little condescending, the latter is just pure hate.

When a bunch of poor people are stranded with no food and no clean water - Republicans take pleasure and satisfaction in it. To them its a big "I TOLD YOU SO, you STUPID POOR person! Nanny nanny boo boo!" moment. Am I just making this shit up? Nope. Its already happened. Just look at how the right reacted to the growing crowds at the New Orleans Convention Center in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. With contempt. That's how.

If they use services, they can help pay for them.

Fuck you and your lies, you pusillanimous piece of dog shit! I was part of a group that arraigned for donated food, water, clothing and medicines to be trucked to Louisiana in the aftermath of Katrina. Our little group of church-going Republicans managed to send 6 tractor-trailers loaded to the rafters within 48 hours.

What the fuck did YOU do, asswipe?

ETA: Besides bitch and moan, that is...?
