ACORN eligible for Federal FUNDS---AGAIN !

And what has the DoJ really done about this that has any significance?

They do have there priorities, though. I mean, propaganda takes priority over justice, right? I still don't have my offical copy of the Newspeak lexicon, so I may be wrong.

I wonder what RICO is being called nowadays.

Several things.

1. This didn't come from the AG directly, it came from the Office of Legal Counsel.
2. It did not say that ACORN was still eligible for federal funds. It stated that contracts signed with ACORN by federal agencies before the legislation was passed were still valid, since the bill did not contain a clause revoking those contracts.
3. The decision was made because breaking the contracts without that provision in the legislation would mean opening federal agencies to potential lawsuits.
