The Coast Guard then set the boat on fire, stripped the fishermen naked and gave them thin coveralls, chained them to the decks of the U.S. ship, and denied them basic amenities like shelter and medical care for injuries, according to the complaint.
But god fearing christians would never do that...

Did they say they were "christian"?

Did you know Jesus took whips to people desecrating His Father's House?

And WHY do the children of Satan always quote the Bible?

I have no idea why children of Satan quote the Bible since that would make them angels and they have special powers since they are special creations of God..

It blows my mind that Jamaica wrote these guys off, and basically told the US to have at it, with regard to doing whatever they wanted with these men. A nation with more self determination, and ability would look on foreign powers seizing their sailors as piracy. They were in international waters after all.
As far as the detainees "rights" are concerned... I consider any vessel flying the US flag to be US soil. As such they should have been afforded all the rights due anyone else in custody. It'll be interesting to see what comes of this one.

The Drug War justifies violation of international national laws and afforded rights in the Constitution yet our leaders are paraded as heros...What a joke.

Found a bail on Padre National Seashore years back.
Threw it in the back of the truck and handed it over to the park rangers when they passed by the next day.
Thats of course after checking to see if it somehow survived.

As usual with the ACLU the entire story is very different from what their version is.

I tend to believe our military over drug dealing Jamacians or the ACLU

Back in the day people used to find bales of weed on the coast of Florida all the time.

I had a friend who found four bales just washed up on the shore. He called the Police and it was later burned.
