This is one of their best albums, IMO, better than Back in Black.

I was never big into them.

I like them, a couple of songs I really like, but overall, just don't get too excited when I hear them.

Angus is a killer guitarist though.

I like them more with Bon Scott than Brian Johnson, except for the Back in Black album.

But Angus kicks ass.

I agree, the older stuff had a certain edge that post-Scott lacks.

I like "Big Gun"...that's probably my favorite one with Johnson.

With Bon Scott they seemed to have more of a blues/rythm sound. I dont know music to describe it well, but I like Scotts stuff better than what came later.

Definitely a blues band up until Highway To Hell, and even then there are hints of it on there...

Who lotta rosie, Go down, title track and Crabsody in Blue are the best tracks IMO.
Not a huge fan of Hell Aint a bad place to be or Bad Boy Boogie.

Fav Bon Scott album would be dirty deeds, followed by Highway, then High Voltage (Australian version)...The only sucky album from his era was Powerage IMO....although Riff Raff and Sin City rock

Interesting. I like the more rockish versions that seem to be more of a mix, but Whole lot of Rosie is one of my favorites.

My absolutely most favorite two songs that they did are these:

Gone Shootin

Cold Hearted Man

Hope this doesn't detract from your thoughts on Bon Scott, but here he is in an interesting get up as a member of the Valentines - late 60s early 70s. Probably turn in his grave seeing, although he looks stoned - or very, very happy!

He's the back up singer...

For fuck sake this is a good album. I remember when these guys came to KC in '81.

Problem Child remains a favorite.

Interesting. I had no idea he ever did that kind of pop rock.

He apparently evolved as some might say.

Cold hearted Man is a good song....

Yeah, so why did they cut itfrom their major release?

Wish I could get it on CD.

I've always wondered why the US version of High Voltage has two songs from the Australian version, and seven songs from their second Aust album TNT. There are a lotta good songs on the original High Voltage, although I think they were released in the 1980s in the US...I especially like She's Got Balls and Love Song...

Another damned good album, though from a different band altogether
