I do notice that people like to portray nutjobs as representative of an entire group or ideology. Thats not the case. I like to look at people as individuals and judge them as individuals. If we did that more in America instead of blindly following one group or another because of the letter next to their name maybe this country wouldn't be so F'd up. There are plenty of POS in both the political parties. We shouldn't be defending them when they are wrong regardless of the affiliation. Unfortunately there are so many POS politicians that we feel we must defend the undefendable even though we know its not right. We need to start judging people as individuals. I wish we could just do away with the 2 party system and force everyone to be independant.

If they judged people as individuals, they would be conservatives.

Williams is charged with allegedly opening fire on police on Interstate 580 in Oakland, California, while on his way to "start a revolution" by attacking members of the ACLU and the Tides Foundation. As we've reported, the Tides Foundation is a favorite punching bag of Glenn Beck's, and he counts the group among his cabal of liberals aiming to bring socialism to America.

In the audio, Williams says that he looks at Beck "more like a schoolteacher" than a newscaster, and that he began watching Fox News just to see Beck:

This works for you on some level or what? I watch Glenn Beck's show. I've never ONCE heard him express ANY sentiment towards those who protect us whether they are police, firemen etc. or in the military -except express his profound RESPECT.

Its the people who throw rocks and bottles at the cops in the idiotic belief it shows how passionate they are about an issue he complains about. Not a coincidence in my book that you would glom on to this bullshit as if there were some kind of legitimacy here. Liberals HATE the fact any other views except their own receive media coverage -don't you bubba. Except by doing so you proved two things. The shooter doesn't watch Beck -and neither do you.

Looks like we are going to have to take a look at all the people who commit crimes in this country and determine what ideology they most like adhere to. Apparently thats what you are saying. Im pretty sure that every crime commited is because of one ideology or another right? Not for any other reason.

When you get into crimes of terrorism, which Byron Williams was into, it's not so cut and dried. It's more likely to be ideology based.

It is about as valid to blame a TV pundit as it is to say 'The Devil made me do it'.

The polls have nothing to do with it. what has something to do with it is how Congress acted this year.

The polls have everything to do with it. They were duly elected by the people. The radical right fringe can yell "tyranny" all they want, but it doesn't change the fact that the election was the constitutional process for change. That doesn't dismiss the threats of armed insurrection being made by that fringe.
