whats wrong is that the guy who did this is insane, misled, brain damaged or whatever, but just because he says Glen Beck influences him and it led him to do these things doesn't mean Glenn Beck is to blame. It isn't right to be so intellectually dishonest to say that this guy is representative of a given group of thought. It is also wrong to deflect the actions of this crap ball and instead talk about some other lunatic who did crazy stuff in the name of the other side of political thought. Why don't we all just agree these people are POS and end at that? I don't get it.

Accused Oakland, CA Shooter: Glenn Beck 'Blew My Mind'
In audio interviews obtained by MediaMatters, accused shooter Byron Williams says Fox News host Glenn Beck "blew my mind" with "the things he exposed."
Williams is charged with allegedly opening fire on police on Interstate 580 in Oakland, California, while on his way to "start a revolution" by attacking members of the ACLU and the Tides Foundation. As we've reported, the Tides Foundation is a favorite punching bag of Glenn Beck's, and he counts the group among his cabal of liberals aiming to bring socialism to America.
In the audio, Williams says that he looks at Beck "more like a schoolteacher" than a newscaster, and that he began watching Fox News just to see Beck:

Listen, the Left controlled this country for decades. The Right was in the wilderness during the postwar years. In order to regain the levers of power, the Republican Party got deeply in bed with bigots from the south. The Southern Strategy, by giving racism a political voice, was the Right's path out of the wilderness.
Here is the essence: the leaders on the right give tax breaks to billionaires by playing the race/gays/illegals/sinners/terrorist card. Demonology-&-fear is what the Right does: it gives hate a seat at the table for electoral purposes. It uses things like abortion to scare good folks into the voting booth (but it does not care about Roe. Governor Reagan had the most liberal abortion policy in the history of the United States, and he never stepped foot in a church. His own children admit that his relationship to the moral majority was a matter of political convenience)
