Accused Oakland, CA Shooter: Glenn Beck 'Blew My Mind'

Normally, it would be easy to write this guy off as a kook, but in today's society, he sounds like a basic tea bagger.

Accused Oakland, CA Shooter: Glenn Beck 'Blew My Mind'
In audio interviews obtained by MediaMatters, accused shooter Byron Williams says Fox News host Glenn Beck "blew my mind" with "the things he exposed."

Williams is charged with allegedly opening fire on police on Interstate 580 in Oakland, California, while on his way to "start a revolution" by attacking members of the ACLU and the Tides Foundation. As we've reported, the Tides Foundation is a favorite punching bag of Glenn Beck's, and he counts the group among his cabal of liberals aiming to bring socialism to America.

In the audio, Williams says that he looks at Beck "more like a schoolteacher" than a newscaster, and that he began watching Fox News just to see Beck:
And it was the things that he did, it was the things he exposed that blew my mind. Beck would never say anything about a conspiracy, would never advocate violence, he'll never do anything like, of this nature, but he'll give you every ounce of evidence that you could possibly need.

Normally it's easy to write kooks like you off on a message board, but you are the basic Statist Drone Moron.

I missed the episode where Beck said to go shoot school children

What exactly does that have to do with the LA shooter, Byron Williams? Interesting how gullible some of those who thanked you are.

Let's see, JD Salinger (Catcher in the Rye) got John Lennon killed. Jodie Foster almost got Regan killed.

Limbaugh and Talk Radio were responsible for Oklahoma City...or so said Billy-Bob Clinton...

Did McVeigh and Nichols make that claim? In Byron Williams' case, he made it clear who his mentor was.

Face it BUB. You are of the mind...err uhmm...nevermind. You've demonstrated that you posess a very small one. Your just a sick twisted Statist Drone that takes no responsibility for himself and thinks everyone else does as you.

In short? Yer an IDIOT.
Have a nice day.

I see you thanked liebusters post. Did you not know who it was Byron Williams shot at, and who he wanted to shoot at? It looks like you got punked by liebuster. Do you feel a little tingle when you try to sit? It's great posting on a board with so many gullible rubes.

If this guy tried to connect dots like that, you'd have a point. That's quite different from Beck's rabble rousing, and the threats of violence we've seen with the tea baggers.

Typical liberal thought process, never blame the one who did the deed. It's always someone else's fault.
Johnny gets bad grades....blame the education system, throw money at it.
Johnny misbehaves....it's video games,rock music,rap music..
Johnny says something the left doesn't like, shut down right leaning talk radio.
Ask the left if there's anything Johnny should be held responsible for his actions and the left will just look at you with a dumb look.

Looks like we are going to have to take a look at all the people who commit crimes in this country and determine what ideology they most like adhere to. Apparently thats what you are saying. Im pretty sure that every crime commited is because of one ideology or another right? Not for any other reason.

I don't think Byron Williams was a typical liberal, since his targets were the ACLU and the Tides Foundation. I'm a typical liberal who fully supports the Nuremberg precedent, I.E. those who follow criminal orders are still culpable. I never thought that those who committed the crimes at Abu Ghraib should have been given a slap on the wrist, because they were given illegal orders.

I also don't absolve those who give the marching orders. Had Hitler and Himmler not saved a lot of hassle, I'd vote to convict.

When you get into crimes of terrorism, which Byron Williams was into, it's not so cut and dried. It's more likely to be ideology based.

A Republican majority in Congress would mean "hand-to-hand combat" on Capitol Hill for the next two years, threatening policies Democrats have enacted to stabilize the economy, President Obama warned Wednesday.

Speaking on Michael Baisden's syndicated radio show, Obama also made a direct appeal to African Americans about the importance of the November vote, even though he's not on the ballot himself.

"The reason we won [in 2008] is because young people, African Americans, Latinos -- people who traditionally don't vote in high numbers -- voted in record numbers. Take your time. That post is totally unhinged.

Wasn't Al Gore responsible for the shooting at the Discovery Center in MD a couple of months ago? This is what all this global warming talk breeds--violence and shooting.

Really, DICK. You need a more believable gig than this one.

Actually, he was pissed about their programming.

“I want Discovery Communications to broadcast on their channels to the world their new program lineup and I want proof they are doing so. I want the new shows started by asking the public for inventive solution ideas to save the planet and the remaining wildlife on it,” the alleged manifesto reads, adding:

“Nothing is more important than saving ... the Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants, Froggies, Turtles, Apes, Raccoons, Beetles, Ants, Sharks, Bears, and, of course, the Squirrels. The humans? The planet does not need humans.”

Police kill Discovery building gunman - U.S. news - Crime & courts - msnbc.com

Wrong yet again Rabid Lie. The guy was pissed off because Discovery Channel wouldn't take up his idea for a show.

Basically, just another disgruntled individual who didn't get their way.
