Not really, taste kind of like what you think cat food would taste like. I should have taken your word for it!
 
I once had spam fritters. Not quite the culinary disaster one might imagine, but still pretty uugh.
 
Dad used to make scrapple when I was a kid (we raised our own hogs), I never cared for it. But he sure could spice up the homemade sausage just right.

Did he use tails, wings, beaks and hooves too?
 
Hogs don't have wings and beaks. The feet always ended up pickled.
I think the tails ended up in the scrapple.

You know what I have noticed from my own experience those dives have the best breakfast especially if one is hung over. We have this one place here that is in one of the worst parts of town but man do they make the best food!
