The terrorist is reported to be talking again.

...............................

We fought terrorism decades ago.
We won then. We won without invading Germany, Italy, Japan, et al.

We do not need to go bankrupt militarily invading every country that harbors a terrorist. There has to be a stronger and smarter strategy out there.

The situation we are in fighting terrorism militarily is unsustainable. We need to rethink policies or we will go the way of the USSR.

just a few thoughts.

Fucking idiot!

terrorist groups...countries we didn't invade where terrorists hostile to US citizens and interests were sheltered: The Red Army Faction in West Germany, Action Direct in France, Red Brigades in Italy, and 17 November- in Greece, and the Japanese Red Army (JRA).

A partial list of state sponsoredterrorist groups reads like a rogues gallery; Hizballah (Islamic Jihad), Abu Abbas'sPalestinian Liberation Front (PLF), Abu Nidal Organization (ANO), Popular Front for theLiberation of Palestine (PFLP),..
-AIR WAR COLLEGE...

Baeder and Mienhof committed Suicide in a German jail and the Red Brigade just sort of phased out.

yep, and we didn't wage war on any country they were sheltered in, did we?

No, because those countries were our allies and they were actively prosecuting the terrorists. Just as certain Mid East countries seem to be doing today. Others ,,, not so much.

Why didn't we invade that place the terrorist McVeigh was from? Where was that exactly?

Was he an early tea baggie or what?

"McVeigh wrote letters to local newspapers, complaining about taxes:“

Taxes are a joke. Regardless of what a political candidate "promises," they will increase. More taxes are always the answer to government mismanagement. They mess up. We suffer. Taxes are reaching cataclysmic levels, with no slowdown in sight... Is a Civil War Imminent? Do we have to shed blood to reform the current system? I hope it doesn't come to that. But it might."

The above mentioned groups were supported by significant minorities within their respective countries.

I didn't mention state sponsored groups...or more specificaly terrorist groups existing within states.

The two above existed in the 60s, 70s and longer...and we did not go to war with all the countries.

911 and Afghanistan made sense.

Invading every supporter of terrorism will bankrupt the USA. That is a hard fact.

We need to use all available tools, yet not lose sight of the fact that the world will never be terrorist proof.
