GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Ahmed Bahar, the first deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, denounced the continuation of political arrests and the pursuit of the resistance fighters carried out by PA in the West Bank, calling on Egypt to monitor implementation of the reconciliation agreement.

Bahar said, during a speech he delivered in the headquarters of the Legislative Council of Gaza at a protest sit-in against of political arrests on Sunday: "The political arrest which has become the policy adopted by the security apparatuses in the West Bank is unjustifiable. While there are decisions protecting the security of the Israeli entity, there are others imposing restrictions on the Palestinians in the West Bank".

Ramallah authority does not want reconciliation, as it is still seeking for negotiations with the enemy, despite all the killings, the settlement projects, the seizure of lands and the Judaization it is carrying out, Dr. Bahar added.
