do people REALLY want an unsound monetary system?
do people REALLY want undeclared wars that span decades?
do people REALLY want the government to spend money it doesn't have and put their children into debt?
do people REALLY want a moderate in the white house?

    Unbelievable.

Ron Paul must run third party, he simply must.

if RP does not get the nomination then obama will have his second term. the RP supporter would rather write RP in than vote for anyone else. Including myself.

Fine by me but what is your answer to the very credible claim that a vote for Paul will be a vote for Obama?

Romney is not my choice, because he is a moderate, but he IS going to take the nom. I believe. This country has gone too far left, to swing all the way to the right. We have to first go purple. At least he is a man with, not only political experience as a governor, but also a business man. No one man is perfect for the job. He will stop the spending as he does have the best interest of his country in his heart.

What credibility? I'm pretty sure that when I vote for Candidate A, I'm voting for Candidate A.

I don't think Romney is a vote for the Status quo at all. The man has a history of eliminating corruption and making things efficient both publically and privately.

Probably 80% of the people who would vote for Ron Paul if he ran would not vote for any of the other GOP candidates if he didn't run.

I honestly don't know where you folks get this idea from. A conservative Republican can win the presidency just as easily as Romney if they pound home the issues that matter most to people and right now that is the economy and sound fiscal policy. A lot of very conservative Republicans got elected to Congress and governorships last year running on better economic policies and less government interference, yet amazingly the politicos and party establishments would have you believe that never happened.

Everyone assumes Romney is the best candidate because he is a so called moderate, but you folks aren't taking into consideration that there are plenty of people out there who are sick of voting for the status quo and that might actually make Romney the least electable candidate if that is what he is perceived to be.
