We have a really bad video where someone makes fun of religion. A preplanned attack that has nothing to do with the video occurs which gets people killed, the government reacts by asking Google to take the video down and trying to throw the guy they think made the film into prison, even though he did nothing illegal. Progressives everywhere cheer this violation of free speech.

A few years ago there was another video where an filmmaker named George Holiday saw police beating up a man we later learned was named Rodney King. He called the police the next day to ask about the beating and, naturally, was stonewalled. He gave the video to KTLA, and the police were charged, and acquitted. People rioted, 53 people died, and property damage totaling hundreds of millions of dollars resulted. This was all the direct result of the video that KTLA aired.

The FBI and the DOJ did not track down the guy that filmed the video, neither did the LAPD. No one anywhere talked about holding him responsible for the violence, and no one wanted him arrested. There were no op eds in USA Today by tenured professors explaining how free speech does not mean that we can make videos that lead to violent outbreaks.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way--in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.

Isn't it amazing how far we have come in 20 years? We used to have a constitutional right to free speech, now we don't.

It's all a rouse.... The movie has nothing to do with what is going on over there.

But if the Hussein regime here in America can keep it front and center by investigating and such... well the lemmings will go along with it.

This is a national disgrace!

I saw a film that outlines Mitt Romney's vision for America. It's entitled "The Hunger Games".
