That could actually benefit a lot of people. Instead of bailing out all these auto companies, we should push Harley Davidson into branching out. Anyone else think it's be cool for them to do that? Admittedly it wouldn't fill much of the automotive market, but I think it'd be cool to have Harley cars out there to.

Harley's iron is old technology.

Old men chasing their second childhoods buy them for their nostalgic value (and the wonderful sound of their pipes)

Obviously if HD started making cars, they wouldn't be able to sell cars based on such antique technology, so I doubt they'd get many clients simply based on the HD name.
