A senseless tragedy, but a good warning.

I hate these types of stories but they do illustrate the worst type of public employee bahavior. Had this happened at a private pool there would allready be a criminal investigation, the pool would be closed, the employees involved would of course be unemployeed etc. However, because it happened at a public pool with public employees.....well you know. Whatever happens will happen very, very slowly...if at all.

And for those who think this is a rare occurence here is this little missive from the Left Coast where rescue folks just watched as a man drowned.

Eventually these are the types of people who will be in charge of your health care.
