A Reminder of What We face If We loose Our Resolve

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Bonnie again.
............:(

You're the BEST Bonnie! Thanks for linking that!

A powerful piece, and a reminder of the evil we faced on that day. And also a reminder of America at its best, coming together in the face of a tragedy of epic proportions.

Sadly, since that day, the GOP and the White House have cynically used that tragedy to suit their own shortsighted political agendas and have squandered the goodwill generated towards America from the rest of the world. That day was a turning point, and they turned in the wrong direction.

Yeah? And can you please enlighten us all to what their "shortsighted political agenda" is?

Really.............. I'm ALL EARS here...

Dear Bonnie,

I am absolutely speechless. Touching. Cathartic. Life-affirming. This is easily the post of the year. Thank you very much.

I debated back and forth on whether to post it, and realized that it was put together very respectfully, so it seemed like the right thing at the right time.

That day wasn't about being democrat or republican.
Nice of you to turn this into a partisan event. :lame2:

One party rule.

The other party has shown us its "resolve" - in Connecticut. They want it to be 1973 again so badly that they've turned their eyes from the truth. More power to them; perhaps they'll voluntarily excuse themselves from the realm of political relevance altogether, and we can concentrate our energies on fixing the Republican Party.
