A question for the pro-abortion aka pro-choice crowd

BD illustrates why anyone with compassion for children has a horror of legalized, institutionalized abortion.

So you want to call a spade a spade? Why don't anti-abortion folks call themselves anti-choice? I'm with Neal Boortz on this when he says, "have you ever noticed that the people who scream the loudest about abortion are men who will never be faced with making the choice?" I understand that you are a "social conservative" and as such, you desire to control society based on your personal beliefs, wants and desires just like the socialist liberals. You just have a different social agenda to legislate. As a conservative (non-social), I don't consider it any of my business to tell people how to live their lives for them. I have a feeling that you'd throw a piss fit if abolitionist raised their ugly heads again and tried to take away your Lonestar beer or if the gun control crowd tried to take away your guns, wouldn't you? If you don't want them sticking their noses in your business, shouldn't you keep yours out of theirs? It's really the conservative thing to do.

Tell me what choice is given to the unborn child? What choice is given to the father of an aborted child?

I would never be faced with that choice because I would never procreate with a woman that would kill an unborn child.

It's nice to know you care so much for an unborn child. So much so that you would stand by and let it's life be snuffed out. And why? Because it's none of your business. You have no problem minding though huh?

Really? You're a virgin?

Not hardly, I have 5 children.

So - you'd cheat on your wife?

FTR - The Lord himself advocated for abortion in cases of infidelity!

The Lord advocated no such thing.

Then the LORD said to Moses, 12 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If a man’s wife goes astray and is unfaithful to him 13 so that another man has sexual relations with her, and this is hidden from her husband and her impurity is undetected (since there is no witness against her and she has not been caught in the act), 14 and if feelings of jealousy come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure—or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure— 15 then he is to take his wife to the priest.

When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse.

The priest is to have her stand before the LORD and is to apply this entire law to her. 31

That's the Old Testament, the only part of the Old Testament people like Lonestar "need" to follow are the ones that speak out against homosexuality, the rest can be ignored.

In fact you can do the exact opposite of what the Old Testament says in most cases, except for when it gives you an excuse to be a homophobe.

Again the Lord never advocated abortion. Nice try though.

LOL!!!

And he never spoke out against homosexuality, and you use the Old Testament as an excuse to be a homophobe.

Try being consistent.

FYI the New Testament also speaks out against homosexuality. but don't let the facts stop you.

Nice deflection.

The Lord never does, in your last post you pretended that was important, is it not important now?

:cuckoo:

This is clearly stated: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (Leviticus 18:22) Moreover, it is also clear that the Law prescribes death for this abominable sin: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Leviticus 20:13) There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. (Deuteronomy 23:17)

In Romans 1 homosexuality is presented as the end of the road. It is the lowest level of human depravity: 21 because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts unto uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves: 25 for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile passions: for their women changed the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due. (Romans 1:21-27)

But those are not the Lords words, are they?

Believe as you wish.

The Lord never speaks about homosexuality or abortion.

The Old Testament speaks against homosexuality and for abortion.

So which principle are you sticking to? The first one or the second one?

Nothing?
