Why should it always be the Democrats who have to do the right thing? Why can't Republicans EVER do anything good? Aren't they the ones who claim to be so "moral" and have all these "values"? Yet they seem to have a shit excuse for every dirty thing they do. Says a lot about you for defending them.

How is double taxation the right thing? All Americans should be taxed at the same rate regardless of income.

The thing is that Investment Income is not necessarily double taxed. You are taxed on the Profit, the Return. That said, my argument would bring Employment Income down to the Investment level, and start taxing Everyone based on a uniform Percentage of what they actually earn, including Benefits.

There are many ways to make taxation fair for everyone. No money in it for lawmakers though. Democrats would never go along, as class warfare is their life's blood.

It's just that Mitt or anyone like him, are catching it now for political reasons (even if they did no wrong), because they have been stereo typed into being the bad nasty ole rich greedy wealth holders, for whom aren't investing that money back into America in the ways that they should be. You see they are leaving the government to pay the bills on the outcasted middle class and poor for whom number in the hundreds of thousands across America now (maybe even in the millions), by government accusation or influence of, where as it is true that their was this bad greed driven corrupt rich people, whom did leave these Americans lying on the governments doorsteps in huge numbers afterwards, in order for the government to then somehow try and figure out how to take care of them when all was said and done (otherwise when the rich bad guy's and maybe gal's were all done with these workers), that could care less about them when they flew away with their golden parachutes, their millions, and sometimes billions afterwards, nor did they care about the families (or) this nation (or) much of anything else when they did what they had done to them all, but that doesn't mean nessesarity without proper investigation/vetting of (before allowed to be President), that a Mitt Romney was involved in all of that (or) a Newt Gingrich etc. either.

It all (the bad part we have experienced) became a very bad trend that got to going on badly, in which left many with not much hope or any future for themselves (or) their future families in the situation. Now we see the government trying to repair quickly the damage that was done, but going about it in the wrong ways alot of time, where as they feel that they still cannot trust the people in this nation that control so much of what it figures is this ill gotten wealth in which they had aquired so quickly and badly, so a move towards socialism type policies or actions in their minds, is the only way out of this mess.

PS. What has happpened in this nation, (well let's look at it from this angle maybe), for years we were all taught by our parents to be good in everyway possible, and in everyway good and decent human beings, when sadly next it happened ! The nation fell apart morally and lost it's decency through greed found in the eyes of a new generation. What took centuries to build up, was just sitting there in the eyes of the new generation of greed short term profiteers, to just waltz right in by way of inheritance and/or through having a silver spoon born with in their mouth, to then have not the company, the people, or this nation at heart when entered into the doorway, but rather they only had within their vision what they could do to enrich themselves quickly (staring at the intrusted chicken house they were put in charge of now), where as after they had gotten quickly their fill, then they figured to get out quickly before the risk came somewhere back down the line upon them. These new genration of wealth takers/wolves (whom if the shoe fits then wear it) are lazy, spoiled rotten greedy brats, who wouldn't take a risk or work one hard day in their life if they needed to or had to. They care not for anything but themselves, and that has become a huge problem in this new century now.

It is also likened to a huge swarm of vultures who were flying about & above us having these demonic spirits within them, just waiting to get at this nation someday soon, when next they were given the green light finally, the go ahead, by the new found weakness found just below them, to then swoop down and begin tearing and ripping apart eveything that once was considered solid in foundation, soveriegn and American as it were. Now how did this happen? It took some who were on the ground, to then open the doorway up for them so that they could fly in, now whom might that have been? Who were the foolish/greedy that open the doors up for the vultures to come in and to drink and be merry with us as our friends, just before killing us all ? Ever think back now about the new cat that came into your company, who was tasked with doing great things, yet at the companies and employee's regret in the end ? Anyone remember these types, who had these ideas, and these thoughts that were going to make everything so much better when spoken about in the company meetings ? Next thing you know this person was bailing after around say 3 to 5 years, and wildy leaving as a very wealthy man, and after that, then the CEO bailed next, and after that the company tanked ? This began to become a trend in America, until so many started showing up on the governments doorstep needing help, that the government began seeing and realizing the problem, but it was to late at that point, now for the great fall out afterwards.

The tax code is one place to start, yet to also look at regulations that would prevent bad people from doing bad things to our nation on whole as well... This is where the sticking point is though, now isn't it?

We have to have an administration that is trustworthy to look at changing regulations or creating legislation that will suffice that end to be met, but if we have an administration who has an agenda instead, and has a chip on it's shoulder also for various reasons, then doing anything at that point could be untrustworthy by us for them to do, because they in the peoples eyes, might use various ways to enrich their friends, families or buds over and above what the true purpose would be in looking at or doing these things that are talked about now by them, as to found within it all.

So this nation will vote real soon, upon how much they trust this President, to then look into, and/or to change some of the foundational principles, operating standards, regulations, laws and/or etc. that are found in this nation now, instead of targetting and going after the real bad guy's, while keeping the nations freedoms and liberty's intact and in place.

I don't consider myself rich, but I'm pretty high up on the earnings scale. I work. Not as hard has I had to work to get here, but I work a-plenty. When others look at me and express subtle envy, I never fail to tell them that I didn't get here in the 8 hour day, and remind them that the nursing school is just down the road. I always was going to school along with working and once I even worked 3 jobs at the same time. But it all really pushed my earning power up and up over the years.

I know one rich guy who says he never worked over half a day at a time. What's half a day? 12 hours. That is the essence of it. You have to apply yourself.

Even with this heart and lung disease I have, I could not be happy living in subsidized housing on $500/month and food stamps. I gotta have the lake house and I gotta be able to afford nice clothes, jewelry, and to do things! And I want to leave my kids an inheritance. Yeah, I'm just a greedy bitch!
