You know what I think is immoral? Smoking. It destroys lives and families. It costs world economies billions of dollars a year. Yet do you see any of these hypocritical Republicans looking to ban smoking? Half of them are in the pockets of big tobacco. You know what else I think is immoral? People making shit up and using scare tactics to control others and get them to conform to their standards. You need to get a life. A sex life.
I don't know what's missing from your brain but there's no hypocrisy between protecting children from porn and adults being free to smoke cigarettes.
Where the fuck did I say that children should not be protected you stupid shit??!! I'm talking about adults!
Protecting children is the purpose in the pledge that sent you over the edge. No one is trying to make America porn free. You compared it to cigarette smoking.

Look Weasel...The pledge may be about children but the point that I'm making is that the Republicans position on porn goes beyond children. They want to legislate morality for adults. They are using children as an issue to frighten people about the alleged dangers of porn in general. Is it possible that you can't understand that?

The new amendment, which will be added to the national party’s 2016 platform, reads, “Pornography, with his harmful effects, especially on children, has become a public health crisis that is destroying the life [sic] of millions. We encourage states to continue to fight this public menace and pledge our commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing.”Republican platform labels pornography 'a public health crisis'

Not that it says "especially children" Not children exclusively. And they continue to be hypocrites about it......

Now take a moment to read that exact same quote, only this time, replace “pornography” with “gun violence.” The national Republican Party’s platform committee unanimously approved the porn measure yesterday; is there any doubt it would have unanimously rejected the same language if it pertained to guns?

The point of a national party’s platform is to articulate its core values and priorities. Unfortunately, the RNC platform is doing exactly that.

Their "priorities are fucked up big time

The document, which won’t be formally approved until the Republican convention next week, also opposes “policies that encourage cohabitation,” supports crackpot “gay conversion therapy” in which sexual orientation is changed through prayer, expresses concern over electromagnetic pulse threats, declares coal power as “clean,” and seeks to turn back the clock on marriage equality.

Banning porn is almost impossible I think.
I've read the porn industry earns almost 100 billions USD per year... :eek-52:
That means porn is some kind of "economic power" in the world! :disbelief:

But as a women, let me ask you... do you want your guy looking at porn instead of you? When you are intimate, do you want him comparing you to those fake girls on the porn video?
At this very moment I've no boyfriend Andylusion lol ;)
No seriously I wouldn't be happy if my boyfriend watched porn movies. In a relationship man and woman should see at each other with the best desire.
If my bf desires watching porn movies that means he doesn't desire me :)
(In a few words: I would be jealous of pornstars lol )

And that, Moon... is why I hate porn, and if I could, I'd ban it. It destroys relationships, just like you would not be happy if your boyfriend watches that crap.

I want the best for everyone. And you can not have the best relationship, with porn. Not possible.

No, you pity porn stars. They are often girls with very low self esteem, that are used and abused, because they want something that you want as well. But they don't know how to get it.

Feel sorry for them. But smack your boyfriend if he watches that trash. Better yet, find a man, who will be a husband, and not watch that trash.

See you next time Moon! :)

Hi Andylusion :bye1:
I agree with what you said in your last post :)
I've read something about the porn industry and you're right. Some girls who make porn for a living have a low self esteem, other say the just do porn for money and they don't love sex :)uhoh3:), and I've read about a girl who makes porn because she can't find any other job...
Strange world the porn industry...
See you Andylusion! Have a good day! :)

Parenthetically...

There is nothing wrong with censorship, and nothing in any part of the Constitution that prohibits it. The "freedom of speech" mentioned in the First Amendment deals with the freedom to criticize the government or government officials; i.e., you cannot be punished legally for criticizing them. It has nothing to do with materials deemed obscene or offensive by local authorities.

Pornographers and subversive attorneys (ACLU-types) have convinced many Americans that somehow the First Amendment prohibits any government from restricting any form of speech or non-verbal communication, no matter how offensive. Initially, one might note that the First Amendment begins with the phrase, "CONGRESS shall make no law..." thus it has no logical power over what the governments of Utah or Keokuk, Iowa might want to do. Second, at the time of the First Amendment and for at least 150 years thereafter, it was absolutely common practice for municipalities to ban "obscene" materials, legally and effectively, so the claim that the First Amendment was intended to void such laws is preposterous. Noted Comedian Lenny Bruce was often successfully prosecuted for using words such as "c-ck sucker," and "mother f-cker" in his comedic monologues, and NO ONE EVEN THOUGHT TO CLAIM that he somehow had a "Constitutional" right to say these things. They were obscene and offensive, and he was tried and convicted for breaking the local laws. The myth that such communications are even now protected by the First Amendment is pure balderdash. Most of such laws have been repealed or are not enforced, but they are manifestly not unconstitutional.

Second, the anti-pornography campaign has no logical relationship whatsoever to the "adult" entertainment offered in many in-person venues. One must be an adult to enter, and it is not those adults who are sought to be protected. It is a campaign to find some effective way to limit access to pornography by minors.

And there is no question that constant exposure to pornography in one's formative years can have a significantly negative effect on the socialization of young boys, affecting how they relate to their female peers, perhaps for a lifetime.

Hi!

Yes, some do it for the money, and some say they can't find a job. That's true, but it's still not a good idea.

Have you heard the phrase "Short term gain, long term pain".

In the short term, yes you can make some money, and it's very easy because all you have to do is shake your breast at a guy, and you can make money.

But the problem is, as we all know, beauty fades, and some day you are not going to be shaking your breasts at guys.

When these girls leave the industry, they have nothing. Absolutely nothing. No skills. No experience. No abilities.

In the real world, people pay you for your experience and abilities. What ability does an ex-porn star have? Shaking breasts? Is there any job that pays for that experience and ability?

No. So they leave the strip clubs, in poverty.

I know a girl right now that she was beautiful... really beautiful, but she didn't go to the strip clubs. She worked at a bank as a bank teller. That was 15 years ago. She's now a high level manager, making $100,000 a year.

You can't work your way up to a high paying job, when you are shaking your breasts at a strip club.

Short term pain.... long term gain. She worked a low wage job for years, and now has a high wage job for life.

This is why the porn industry is extremely damaging to women, even if some like the job.... they like it in the moment, when they earn big money for doing very little. When they get old, that's when they find themselves with nothing, and no skills, and no job.
