A Poor Career Choice

I often wonder how, or why, people end up in the career fields they occupy. There are many stories, many factors, that play into peoples' choices. When I saw this gem, I couldn't help thinking WTF? A teacher suffering from pedophobia? Why in the hell would any sane, thinking individual with such an affliction choose such a career? Oh, and now she wants to sue the school district for discrimination.

Ok, I lol'd when I read the article title.

That being said, she enjoys teaching high school level children, but has a fear of small children. She is claiming that the district reassigned her to middle school as a punishment for being vocally agaisnt the districts attempt to move language classes to online only.

I'm not sure if she has a case or not, but its definitely a unique situation.
