My interest in movie industry politics peaked when Hollywood Communists made a mockery out of the Constitution.

Did Communists have the right to dictate the use of private property they did not own?

That question was never asked because media Communists helped Hollywood Lefties turn it into a Fifth Amendment issue.

What Question Would T.J. Ask The Hollywood 10?

As I grew older, I came to understand that the entire industry is populated by parasites living on tax dollars one way or another. My favorite slugger puts it this way:

In an open love letter to Tinseltown in 2014, de Blasio boasted that since 2004, “Hollywood’s financial imprint on our city has grown from $5 billion to $7.1 billion.” The self-proclaimed warrior against income inequality enthusiastically doubled down on government subsidy programs to the Hollywood elite, vowing to “maintain the policies and practices that spurred this expansion while strategically investing in new projects to grow and diversify the industry.”

“Investing,” of course, means using the power of government to redistribute the hard-earned tax dollars of lower- and middle-income workers to millionaire and billionaire studio owners in the TV and film industry. On top of the city’s subsidies, New York State offers myriad special tax breaks, credits, and rebates worth an estimated $420 million to lure Hollywood to the East Coast.

Mayor de Blasio: Hypocrite Hooked on Hollywood Cash | Human Events

I checked to see where black show biz types boycotting the Academy Awards ceremony was located on my interest meter—— high-medium-low. It did not register at all. I just cannot get interested in parasites making all of that money.

Finally, from the time I was little kid during World War Two, I was interested in Hollywood propaganda although I did not know what propaganda was until much later, and I certainly knew nothing about Communists or Communism. My awakening came years after Going My Way was released in 1944 which I probably saw when I was ten years old.

Bing Crosby won the Academy Award which turned out to be a harbinger of where the Awards are at today.

The Awards in 1944 were decided by a committee of five because WW II was in progress and the usual balloting process was too difficult to conduct with so many Academy members being overseas in the military and whatnot.

Another actor by the name of Alexander Knox (1907 - 1995) was also up for best actor for his portrayal of Woodrow Wilson in a movie titled Wilson. When the Committee gave the Award to Bing, the Left, still a fringe group at the time, went berserk. Hardcore Hollywood Communists still piss and moan about the 1944 Awards. The fact that Bing portrayed a Catholic priest only added salt to the wound.

The Left claimed that Knox should have won because his acting was superior to the performance Bing gave. Academy rules state that the acting award is supposed to be given for best acting —— not for entertainment value ——AND CERTAINLY NOT FOR PIGMENTATION. The Left charged that Bing was given the Award by the Committee because his performance was the more entertaining one.

Now that Socialists/Communists have ruled in Hollywood for decades, they interpret the rules to suit themselves. (Nothing new with Communists on that score.) Acting awards are now given based on subject matter which is why the Left wanted Knox to win in 1944 in the first place. After all, we are talking about Woodrow Wilson here. The “acting” smokescreen was just that —— a smokescreen.

The Left’s influence throughout the entertainment industry grew in leaps and bounds as the Hollywood studio system faded away. Once liberal philosophy came to dominate movie storylines it was inevitable that Socialist ideology also exploited television shows. God knows that the mainstream media is bad enough, but the entertainment side of TV does more damage than the news shows because millions more watch entertainment shows than watch the news.

Alexander Knox did not win the Academy Award for the movie Wilson, but propaganda marches on as Hollywood Lefties prove with every release.

p.s. American fans of British television might know Knox for his role as Control in:

Pigmentation Awards has a nice ring to it.

Emmys...Oscars...Pygmies...

I don't see any diversity problems with the Pygmies, but leave it to some tall bastard to get a hard-on if enough of them aren't winners.
