A person who has HIGHEST approval rating in history?

AGAIN... someone tell me that:
1) Dot.com bust didn't occur and costs $5 trillion plus 300,000 in 2001/2002?
2)That 9/11 didn't happen and didn't cost $2 trillion plus 145,000 jobs alone in NYC???
3) Worst hurricane SEASONS NEVER Occurred cost $1 trillion and 400,000 jobs???

AND that When ASKED Congress 17 times!! 17!
"Over the past six years, the President and his Administration have not only warned of the systemic consequences of failure to reform GSEs but also put forward thoughtful plans to reduce the risk that either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac would encounter such difficulties. President Bush publicly called for GSE reform at least 17 times in 2008 alone before Congress acted. Unfortunately, these warnings went unheeded, as the President's repeated attempts to reform the supervision of these entities were thwarted by the legislative maneuvering of those who emphatically denied there were problems. Many prominent Democrats, including House Finance Chairman Barney Frank, opposed any legislation correcting the risks posed by GSEs."

This was what Dodd/Frank's responses were!
the President's warning saying:
"these two entities - Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - are not facing any kind of financial crisis .The more people exaggerate these problems,
the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing."
..
(Stephen Labaton, "New Agency Proposed To Oversee Freddie Mac And Fannie
Mae," New York Times, 9/11/03)

* Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Chairman Christopher Dodd also ignored the President's warnings and called on him to "immediately reconsider his ill-advised" position. (Eric Dash, "Fannie Mae's Offer To Help Ease Credit Squeeze Is Rejected, As Critics Complain Of Opportunism," New York Times, 8/11/07)

So tell me with a Democrat HOUSE the last 2 years WHY did they Laugh at Bush for trying to get the housing bubble under control by closer regulating Fannie/Freddie???

So.......How did Bush go from 92% approval to end up at 26%?

Takes a major fuck up

NONE of you that have answered though have refuted these fundamental EVENTS happened!!

AND NONE of those historians have ALSO acknowledged these Fundamental events occurred evidently!!!

A) Didn't the marvelous dot.com ( that Clinton phony surplus bubble)* bust occur? YES! What did it cost?

1) $5 trillion in market losses which meant the taxpayers who had tax liabilities of $166 billion from 2002 and beyond GONE!
2) 300,000 jobs lost due to dot.com busts....billions in payroll taxes!!!

B) Did 9/11 happen??? YES what did that cost?
1) $2 trillion in losses meant $66 billion a year in reduced TAX payments from 2003 and beyond GONE!
2 145,00 jobs lost in NYC alone due to 9/11... what did that cost? Billions in payroll taxes!

C) DID the worst hurricane SEASONS not hurricanes SEASONS occur? YES what did that cost?
1) $1 trillion in losses meaning $33 billion a year in reduced tax revenues!
2) 400,000 jobs due to Hurricanes Katrina/Rita

NO president IN HISTORY has every had such monumental shocks to the economy, the mental psyche of the nation AND after 2004 the MSM so vehemently biased in news reporting that historians WILL mark that period as the demise of the MSM as a profession that provided objective reporting!

Coalition of the willing?

Tonga, Latvia, Mongolia sending a few dozen token troops?

Where was Mexico, France, Germany......Canada?

They all told Bush he was crazy and that Iraq was no threat. Bush told them "My way or the highway" and called them cowards. A glaring reason why Bush's overwhelming global support disappeared

Provide a link where any head of state called Bush crazy and where Bush called them cowards. If you can, I will admit I am wrong. If you can't, perhaps you should eat shit and die.

Oh please....save me your childishness

1. Diplomatically they did not call him crazy. 2. However they did call his assertions of an imminent Iraqi threat to be unfounded, the UN told Bush to wait, 3. UN weapons inspectors told Bush there was no evidence. 4. Even NATO wouldn't back him

It was a blunder of epic proportions that will be the Bush legacy

1. So you lied about anyone calling Bush crazy.

Strike 1!

2. I don't see WAIT anywhere.

Resolution 1441 specifically stated:
That Iraq was in material breach of the ceasefire terms presented under the terms of Resolution 687. Iraq's breaches related not only to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs), but also the known construction of prohibited types of missiles, the purchase and import of prohibited armaments, and the continuing refusal of Iraq to compensate Kuwait for the widespread looting conducted by its troops in 1991.

That "...false statements or omissions in the declarations submitted by Iraq pursuant to this resolution and failure by Iraq at any time to comply with, and cooperate fully in the implementation of, this resolution shall constitute a further material breach of Iraq’s obligations".

Strike 2!

3. Scott Ritter's position before he received $400,000 from Iraqi American businessman Shaker Al-Khafaji for the financing of his 2000 documentary In Shifting Sands: The Truth About UNSCOM and the Disarming of Iraq. According to a Washington Times article, Al-Khafaji obtained the money from the U.N. Oil-for-Food program for goods imported into the country in violation of U.N. sanctions.

Dec 1998
I think the danger right now is that without effective inspections, without effective monitoring, Iraq can in a very short period of time measured in months, reconstitute chemical and biological weapons, long-range ballistic missiles to deliver these weapons, and even certain aspects of their developing of nuclear weapons. Program.

Strike 3!

4.
The NATO Training Mission-Iraq (NTM-I) was established in 2004 at the request of the Iraqi Interim Government under the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution 1546. The aim of NTM-I was to assist in the development of Iraqi security forces training structures and institutions so that Iraq could build an effective and sustainable capability that addressed the needs of the nation. NTM-I was not a combat mission but was a distinct mission, under the political control of NATO's North Atlantic Council. Its operational emphasis was on training and mentoring. The activities of the mission were coordinated with Iraqi authorities and the US-led Deputy Commanding General Advising and Training (DCG (A&T)), who was also dual-hatted as the Commander of NTM-I. The mission came to an end in December 2011.

Strike 4!

Be patient, Bammy is set to join them.

Not even close

Historians currently rate Obama in the top 15

Stopped a Depression, saved the banks and auto companies, passed Obamacare, ended DADT, killed bin Laden

Solid historical accomplishments compared to Bush's negatives

World reactions to Iraq war ultimatum | EurActiv

German Chancellor Gerhard Schrödersaid there was no reason to break off the disarmament process. "My question has been and remains: does the scale of the threat from the Iraqi dictator justify the launch of a war that will certainly bring death to thousands of innocent men, women and children? My answer in this case has been and remains: No".

Pope John Paul IIwarned that those who went to war would assume heavily responsibility before God and history. "Those who decide that all peaceful means that international law makes available are exhausted assume a grave responsibility before God, their conscience and history," said Vatican spokesman Joaquin Navarro-Valls.

Russian President Vladimir Putinsaid "We are in favor of solving the problem exclusively by peaceful means. Any other development would be a mistake fraught with the toughest consequences, leading to victims and the destabilization of the international situation as a whole."

Belgium's Foreign Minister Louis Michelalso joined the chorus of criticism. "After all the efforts that we made, not only Belgium but also France, Germany, and above all after the huge mobilisation of millions of people across the world, it's disappointing to see that now, war is more than likely," he said.

Yes......they thought Bush was "crazy"

- Abandoned the war on terror to invade Iraq

The War in Iraq was, of course, part of the larger war on terror.

Bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!

The Iraq invasion was part of a plan of empire laid out in the Project for the New American Century, a Fascist blueprint for this nation concocted by Cheney and other fools.

As with the economic debacle, our President has been cleaning up a mess left behind by the 'Conservatives'. Terrorists has definately been taking it in the teeth since President Obama took office. But you 'Conservatives' lie about that, also.

As we get further from the years of the Bush admin, I am sure that the documents revealed will drop Bush even further down the scale. A mismanaged war in Afghanistan, an unneccessary war in Iraq, and a recession that was a hair from becoming the Second Great Republican Depression. Bush's mismanagement of the results of the natural disasters contributes to the already horrid record he was establishing as a President.

FDR had it much worse and he used it as an opportunity to excel. Bush used the opportunity to FAIL

That is why FDR is considered our greatest modern president and Bush is considered the worst
