Who was it who said the Rs act like they don't know we can see them?

That's Mitt.

BTW, his father really did march in civil rights marches but not with King. Mitt took a page out of Kyl's book and said, in effect, it wasn't supposed to be a statement of fact but rather of his imagination!

Its his wild eyed jobs claims that made me gag. Along with him saying he takes credit for the auto bailout.

Mitt Romney's Martin Luther King problem: Will the candidate's MLK tall tales come back to haunt him?

New to me anyway. I heard this one a few days ago but it turns out it goes back a ways. He apparently changed this story a few times. Makes me wonder if he even knows what the truth of all his tall tales are.

For those who care, a site dedicated to trying to keep up with him gazillions of lies and all the various versions and permutations of same -

Romney the Liar

Is there a site like this for Obama the liar????? Just wondering.

Yep.

Every single day there's a new lie from Mitt.

Gawd, what a president he would make. He'd be lying to the entire world. How long before his lies would get us into even more wars than he already has planned?

Putin would wipe up the floor with him. Hell, Queen Elizabeth would too.

Pathetic.

And Obama told an audience in Selma that the march in 1965 resulted in his birth in 1961. Liberal math I suppose.

Oh and this whopper.

Addressing civil rights activists in Selma, Ala., a year ago, Sen. Barack Obama traced his “very existence” to the generosity of the Kennedy family, which he said paid for his Kenyan father to travel to America on a student scholarship and thus meet his Kansan mother.

The Camelot connection has become part of the mythology surrounding Obama’s bid for the Democratic presidential nomination. After Caroline Kennedy endorsed his candidacy in January, Newsweek commentator Jonathan Alter reported that she had been struck by the extraordinary way in which “history replays itself” and by how “two generations of two families — separated by distance, culture and wealth — can intersect in strange and wonderful ways.”

It is a touching story — but the key details are either untrue or grossly oversimplified.

Contrary to Obama’s claims in speeches in January at American University and in Selma last year, the Kennedy family did not provide the funding for a September 1959 airlift of 81 Kenyan students to the United States that included Obama’s father. According to historical records and interviews with participants, the Kennedys were first approached for support for the program nearly a year later, in July 1960. The family responded with a $100,000 donation, most of which went to pay for a second airlift in September 1960.

Governor Romney couldn't attend MLK march on Detroit. It was a Sunday. But he designated the day as "Freedom March Day in Michigan".

He did march the following Saturday at Grosse Point. It should also be noted that George Romney was a huge supporter of civil rights.

George Romney was a good man. Those were rough days for any one standing shoulder to shoulder with the civil rights movement. He took heat for his positions.

During his first State of the State address in January 1963, Romney declared that "Michigan's most urgent human rights problem is racial discrimination—in housing, public accommodations, education, administration of justice, and employment." Romney helped create the state's first civil rights commission

Democrats seem to want to insist that you can't march with someone unless they are right next to you. You know, being in the same movement doesn't seem to count unless you have a D next to your name.

Too bad about the Obama family myths, if what the Pubswine say is true (????????????). But HE didn't lie. Pubs don't know what a lie is anymore. It's all they get...

We know the drill.

Obama "evolves" but Romney "flip flops".....

Obama "misspoke" but Romney "lies".....
