What's become more and more painfully apparent is the GOP's hypocrisy in wailing against the Dems and Obama as trying to destroy private industry and American job growth while ACTIVELY defending corporations that out source to foreign nations. Check this out:

Rep. Brady Acknowledges GOP Not Heeding ‘America Speaking Out,’ Will Ignore 2nd Most Popular Idea (Updated)

Today, Republicans will discuss their “Pledge to America,” the political agenda they plan to campaign on as they attempt to take control over the House of Representatives. The agenda is supposedly the culmination of a project GOP lawmakers launched — America Speaking Out — which was designed to give the public a virtual platform to submit ideas and then vote on them. As the Wonk Room’s Pat Garofalo reported last week, the second most popular item on the “job creation” section of America Speaking out was the user-submitted idea to “Stop the outsourcing of jobs from America to other countries that do not pay taxes into the U.S. and stop the tax breaks that are given to these companies that are outsourcing.”

Democrats will be punished for not cleaning up the Republicans mess fast enough.

The issue this year is listening to the people and being responsive to their wants.

Just like in 94, the issue is Democratic deafness.

Just like in 94, the Republicans are saying "We hear you, and we will be better." they did make some good changes.

The Republican Party is becoming increasingly irrelevant

No, the fruits of their labor are just becoming more apparent...now it's a question of whether the die hard supporters will wake up to the truth, and see this bogus "Tea Party" for what it truly is.

Actually the issue on this thread is presenting the FACTS that the GOP are decisively acting AGAINST the best interests of the American people with regards to their financial future.

The GOP labored long and hard and FAILED to derail Clinton...1994, given Newt Gingrich's disgrace, was nothing to crow about. And when all is said and done, Clinton wasn't exactly the GOP's worst enemy on many policies.

But now the evidence is there for all to see...and the GOP does NOT look good.

lol, speaking of parrots, ThinkProgress, REALLY. you haven't changed a bit.:lol:

Democrats will be punished for not cleaning up the Republicans mess fast enough.

Which is somewhat short sighted.....the monumental dump that the Shrub and company left for Obama to clean up surely wasn't going to be cleared up in a year. Mind you, there is anger over him NOT taken decisive, confrontational actions when he could have, but let's be real....the alternative is far worse. Personally, I'd like to see all this angst thrown into a viable third party....not some liberal equivalent of the Koch/Armey astroturf nonsense like the Tea Party.

Remember folks, ThinkProgress is NOT TO BE TRUSTED.

they have been caught over and over making up stuff that was not said, editing tapes, and out right lying to people.

we've posted the proof right here on the board, all you gotta do is search it out.

Okay, obviously this is one of the neocon parrots from the "Just Plain Politics" board who got their butts kicked by me in several debates. I surmise this by the apparent effort to avoid debating the FACTS of the information presented and just criticizing the source...as if that is a valid way to prove something/someone wrong.

Sorry Stephanie, but that lame tactic didn't cut it then, and it's not cutting it now. Why don't you try PROVING the information contained is wrong? If you can't, then you'll have to accept it as valid....or just remain insipidly stubborn. The choice is yours.

Talk is cheap, Stephanie.....you have to FACTUALLY and LOGICALLY disprove what was contained in the source material I provided. Otherwise, your generalized claims and accusations are so much bitter neocon smoke.

So, can you provide PROOF that the GOP is NOT trying to shoot down a proposal by the Dems that would remove tax breaks for corporations that out source American jobs?

Put up or shut up, Stephanie.
