A message to Republicans

Republicans.......Obama really was born in Hawaii. And he really is, legitimately, President of the United States. Again. And the Bureau of Labor Statistics did not make up a fake unemployment rate. And the Congressional Research Service really can find no evidence that cutting taxes on rich people grows the economy. And the polls were not skewed to oversample Democrats. And Nate Silver was not making up fake projections about the election to make Conservatives feel bad. Nate Silver was doing Math. And Climate Change is Real. And rape really does cause pregnancy sometimes. And Evolution is a real. And Benghazi was an attack on us, it was not a scandal by us. And nobody is taking away anyone’s guns. And taxes have not gone up. And the deficit is dropping, actually, and Saddam Hussein did not have Weapons of Mass Destruction, and the moon landing was real, and FEMA is not building concentration camps, and UN Election Observers are not taking over Texas, and moderate reforms on the regulations in the insurance industry in this country are not the same thing as Communism. And if the Republican Party and the Conservative Movement and the Conservative Media are stuck in a vacuum-sealed, door-locked spin cycle of telling each other what makes them feel good, and denying the factual, lived truth of the world, then we are all deprived as a nation of the constructive debate between competing, feasible ideas about real problems. Last night, the Republicans got shellacked. And they had no idea it was coming. And we saw them in real, humiliating time, not believe it even as it was happening to them. And unless they are going to secede, they are going to have to pop the factual bubble they have been so happy living inside if they do not want to get shellacked again. And that will be a painful process for them, I’m sure. But it will be good for the whole country, left, right and center. You guys, we’re counting on you. Wake up. There are real problems in the world. There are real, knowable facts in the world. Let’s accept those, and talk about how we might approach our problems differently. Let’s move on from there.”

You should.

Because if Republicans keep on the path they are on, they will go the way of the Dodo.

I remember when there was no Rush Limbaugh, no FoxNews.

who gives a fuck about the Republican Party?......when they go the way of the Dodo i hope your fucking piece of shit party goes shortly after them.....and hopefully asswipes that think like you along with them....

In general, Republicans are spoiled brat little babies that have been insulated from reality by their wealth.

They deny the need to recognize reality and are pitching fits over the very idea that they may have to do so.

Their bubble is bursting.

oh geezus....so the rich Democrats are not?....

wow, now there is someone NOT living in the real world..

you just might have a point....

Fuck all democraps and their messages to Republicans. Fuck em.

EXACTLY!!!!!!!! It is sad to see spinless cowards like Boehner, and several other establishment morons like that think they need to move to the center. How dumb are they? Why would Democrats want to help Republicans, it would be completely detrimental to Democrats to do so. Any advice for Republicans from Democrats is for the purpose of further destroying the Republican party and empowering the Democrat party even more. Seriously, if these establishment morons follow this "advice" from Democrats, then we might as well have the two parties merge and we can have a one party rule, and sadly, with the way Boehner loves being kicked in the ass, and only knows how to surrender, roll over and play dead...we are about at a one party merger now.

Do these idiot establishment Repbublicans really think by moving to the left and essentially becoming he Democrat party, suddenly people who have been life-long Democrats are gonna wake up and say, "gee, I think I will vote Republican this time".....no, it will never happen. No matter how much Republicans try to appease hispanics, it will never win them the majority of the hispanic vote. Ronald Reagan won election in 1984 with 40% of the hispanic vote. Republicans tried to appease hispanics by granting amnesty to over 3 million illegal immigrants in 1986. A lot of good that did, because in 1988, George HW Bush only got 30% of the hispanic vote. Yeah, alotta good it did to appease hispanics by granting amnesty to illegals.

What needs to be done is for Republicans to tell Democrats to take their advice and shove it. Republicans need to start conservative talk radio in spanish. They need to get their message out in spanish. Listening to Democrats...the enemy...is beyond stupid.

Fuck all democraps and their messages to Republicans. Fuck em.
It's the price we pay for saying what we think that doesn't go along with the DNC Party line which separated from reality when First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton took over the Spin Room at the White House with 900 Confidential Files that belong to the FBI found in her part of the White House, and she mouthed "I forget" to the grand jury as often as a con artist pleads the fifth Amendment, when she was called before them.

I recommend reading George Stephanopoulos' All Too Human for more elaboration on the above statement I just made. Not recommended for children.

It's a bid for future interviews in which she shows Democrat uppity ups in a favorable light to fool the public from noticing their latest clutching and grabbing reach into the US Treasury and taking out funds sans Congressional approval.

I remember when there was no Rush Limbaugh, no FoxNews.

I remember when Republicans used to stand for something real.

yeah yeah, that's what they said before 2010 AND funny they still kept the HOUSE in this election

and I remember when liberals aren't all pompous asses and the Democrat party wasn't taken over by Socialist and Communist

They only kept the House because of severe gerrymandering of congressional districts. Nationally, the Democrats won more votes in the House than Republicans did, and under the old map they would've gained something like another dozen or 15 seats on top of the 7 or 8 they won this time.

The shellacking didn't look as bad in the House this time, but in terms of the vote, it certainly was, and so it was too in the Senate, as Republicans have lost 5 seats in the last couple elections because of the total fucking retards and other witches they put up as candidates.

The only pompous ass holes I see around are the fools who kept telling me that Romney was going to win in a landslide.

The only pompous ass holes I see on global warming are the morons who continue to deny it and are proud of their denial.

The only pompous ass holes I see on fiscal responsibility are the ones who keep trying to tell me that we can cut taxes, raise defense spending AND bring down the deficit at the same time. These ass holes actually seem proud of the fact that they can't do basic math!

I agree with Rachel. I hope the Republican party shapes up because we really do need two parties that are serious about solving big problems. We can have our disagreements with Democrats, but they're a party that seriously wants to pass a meaningful deficit reduction plan that balances revenue increases along with spending cuts.

It's time for serious Republicans to actually join them and to work something out. They've done so in the past, just not in the last couple or so years as the Tea Party got elected and then decided to make a point instead of actually helping to govern our country.

If this election wasn't a slap in the face to Republicans (Romney bragged about his ground game but got less votes than McCain with his terrible ground game) than the next two cycles will be if they think they can just oppose every single thing that the President has been elected to do on our behalf.
