The House has passed dozens of bills and Reid will not even send them to committee. He simply ignores them, a violation of his responsibility to the voters of America.

In 2009 and 2010 the Dems simply ignored the Republicans and unilaterally created and voted on bills. The stimulus and Health care come to mind.

The Dems have REFUSED to even pass a budget, 4 years and no budget. That is a dereliction of duty and a violation of the requirements of the Congress and the President.

In Healthcare, President Obama openly asked Republicans at the healthcare summit. " Tell me what you need in this bill to vote for it and I will work with you". Republicans replied " tear it up and start over"

In the Super Committee, Dems offered up Trillions in spending cuts. Republicans would not agree to a single penny in tax increases


And then Republicans whine......Democrats won't compromise

Exactly how would the Republicans have known hat was in the stimulus they liked? It was passed without anyone reading it. The demand was made that it was to crucial to wait for the Congress to read it, it had to be passed NOW, then Obama waited 6 days to sign it.

As for Health care of course they said start over, his bill is a travesty.

The dems NEVER offered any trillions for cuts. You are a bald faced liar. They di however demand trillions more in taxes.

Simply not true. Meanwhile since 2011 the Senate has refused to even send to committee any budget bill from the House and numerous other bills. The obstruction is the Senate. In the super committee they refused to authorize ANY cuts except years down the road when another Congress would have to do the work, with no assurance they would EVER happen. Same with Obama, he keeps promising to cut the deficit AFTER he is out of office.

Even with automatic cuts the dems are demanding through Obama a budget that is 1.3 trillion dollars OVER what we have to spend.

To put it another way. Obama has raised the deficit as much in 4 years as Bush did in 8.

The Republicans on the super committee were willing to raise 400 billion in revenue and the Dems said no, not only wouldn't they cut spending they refused to deal on what was acceptable increases.
