Tell me what is cowardly or heartless in wanting to make any and all decisions regarding one's own life and accepting total responsibility for the results of those decisions and how they affect one's own life?

Seems to me the people who blame everyone else for their failings and failures are the cowards.

People do not want to be responsible and libby progressives are hell bent on removing personal responsibility in favor of government control but the irony is the more responsibility you take away from people, the more irresponsible they become.

I think they are more dreamers who live in a fantasy land.
That is how I see the Paulie type libertarian. He's got a big heart and is a compassionate person, generally. He's a Utopian libertarian in my estimation.

There is a darker. more sinister type of Libertarian though, who I think typifies the breed. This type can never be trusted.

What I want ALREADY HAS happened, and been successful, for the better part of 150 years in America.

What you want has been, outside of a very few aberrations, an abysmal failure at the least and responsible for the murders of hundreds of millions of peaceful people at its natural extreme.

Your socialist Utopian dream is in fact the world's worst nightmare come to life.

Your problem is I am NOT a socialist.

That is just part of your delusion.

Anyone who disagrees with your every wim is labeled something they are not.

You refuse reality.

Then there are the whiny ones.

A sub species of the sinister type.

So says a friend of mine.

What say you?
I say bullshit.

There's nothing more "little hearted" than stealing from your neighbor in order to assuage your guilt.
Oh, I'm sure my friend will show up sooner or later to take credit and add his own 2 cents.
Thanks for adding to my point.

A hood knocks over the liquor store and later gives a piece of the loot to the local soup line, in order to soak up a little media attention.

Seems to me Al Capone acted as such.

Yes you are...You merely haven't the spine and/or intellectual honesty to own up to it.

A fiend has PMed me that some Libertarians live to copycat threads and see that breed specific laws are passed.

You're thinking, "Catholics."

Never on Sunday

;)
Would Cafeteria Catholics be more or less libertarian than run of the stream Catholics?

As a Pagan, I advise avoiding "run of the stream" Catholics.......unless they are trout, in which case they are great sauteed in butter in a pan over an outdoor fire.:eusa_drool:

I would never try to make a Fibbertarian do anything.
