Welfare

 

Blimey. That looks something from of the aftermath of the civil war in Yugoslavia, not America.

 

The slums of our major cities had many places far worse than this in the 19th and 20th centuries. And there was no welfare then.

 

So it has nothing to do with poverty?

Welfare exists because poverty exists. You can argue that welfare does not assist people in becoming wealthier, but I've never heard anyone suggest welfare forces people in to poverty.

 

The people who live in a place like this vote for the liberals who have created this subculture.
Why? For votes.. Who would vote for this? Fools.......

 

In what sense has liberalism created poverty where conservatism has not?

Would you mind telling us how many people sank below the poverty line under Reagan? Bush?

Welfare..... easy money for generations of those with no pride. They vote for the check, it's the Liberals who corralled them into a life style.
