A letter to America: You Cannot be Serious

I'm sorry, I can't take anyone who has in their military an "Admiral Rear" sarge seriously. Particularly given the propensity of the British to butt-dive.

Rear Admiral Ali - and don't forget the poop deck. And you know what Churchill (allegedly) said about the Royal Navy? "Rum, sodomy and the lash".

As for any British sexual propensity, the French referred to b and d as the English manner of sexuality, although it's true that the term "camp" was bequeathed to the world by the gay blades who used to attend the military camps in London's parks for assignations, they'd tell their friends they were going "camping" and off they'd go.

There is no Islamic law in Britain though, you'd be relieved to know that.

The inbreeding and anaemia is amongst the aristocracy, there's still plenty of hybrid vigour in the middle and working classes. The aristocracy had too much marrying of cousins, hence the dissolute nature of the British aristocracy, a despicable lot indeed.

But don't forget, it took guts and hard work to rebuild the British nation after WWII. America had Pearl Harbor, Britain had to fight its Battle of Britain against the Luftwaffe and the endured years of bombing in the Blitz and of course towards the end of the war the V1 doodlebugs and even the frightening V2. Fortunately by that time Germany was knackered.

America has had it pretty easy when it comes to the effect of wars. Europeans remember the savagery of it and perhaps that's why they're no gung ho and enthusiastic to go to war at a moment's notice even before all other options have been explored and tried.
