    He had paid into the system for 40 quarters. That is, ten years of compulsory payments at 7% of his income.

    If you are compelled to pay for something, it is yours. All that money he paid into it, and he is to get nothing for it except a warm fuzzy feeling toward the IRS?

    Yea, so..........he paid. What's the big deal?? He would have gotten a lot more if he had invested that $ instead of giving it to the US.

    Since deanie raised the question... if a Republican believes he is being ripped off, that totally disqualifies him from getting any of it back?
