Maybe they GOP will decide to do what they shoulda done in the first place: Create an independent bipartisan committee to come up with a HCI plan except this time whatever the committee's recommendations are will be put to an immediate vote in the House without debate.

Congress shouldn't be "coming up with a plan"
People who actually work in the field should. Sadly congress is too Fucking stupid to turn to experts.

Which means get the pols out of the debate and turn to a non-partisan committee. Right now it's a political football, we'll never get a good cost-effective HC system with these bozos.
