The progressives that want you to believe there is a population problem just glorify gays and women's rights and that way we can rid ourselves of millions of unwanted lives, and prevent new ones from being propagated.

WTF do gays and women have to do with this thread?

No idea. Especially considering the overpopulation lie started nearly two centuries ago.

It's all about one thing for those who push it: Power.

Of course, there is a much more sinister force behind it. The Adversary would love nothing more than to see people killed. He likes people miserable. He wants us to be murderers like he is. And he also wants to prevent souls from being born for the same reason. He wants us miserable like he is.

IMO, the best solution to overpopulation is to develop science and space technology far enough along so those of us who want to can just leave this planet before everyone blows each other up.

Seriously, we should be having colonies in space, on the moon, on Mars by now.
(Yes, not realistically, but we can do it eventually.)

And whether or not you believe in overpopulation, sooner or later, Earth will reach maximum sustainable population. Whether its 9 billion or 19 billion people, eventually there will be too many mouths to feed and not enough land to grow the crops needed to feed those people.

No, we will not reach that point.

The technology doesn't support the theory. Humans will die on any other planet in the solar system and the technology we understand today cannot transport humans to another star. As a matter of fact the technology we rely on doesn't even have the ability to determine if the grand visions we see in the Hubble telescope even exist. Face it people, you ain't goin nowhere.

You left out "I give up." Americans limited their birthrate to less than replacement value after extensive campaigning for us to limit our birthrate in the 70's. Our governments reaction was to increase immigration and stop enforcing laws against illegal immigration. We now have more people in our area that our resources can sustain. That wouldn't have happened if our government did their job.

BTW, immigrants 1st and 2nd generation have an average of 7.5 kids per family. Mexicans who live here have more children than Mexicans who live in Mexico.

How can we reduce our population or even just stop increasing our population when our government goes around us and brings in more immigrants than all other countries combined?

Do you know why there was no celebration when our population reached 300,000,000 like there was when we reached 200,000,000? Because the chances of that baby being born to illegal immigrants was something like 70%.

Overpopulation.
Gay, is the new normal for a reason. They don't propagate.
Women who can and do propagate, the answer is abortion on demand.
Both slow the pretend population problem.

Biology teaches us that any population has a growth curve that increases more rapidly over time, then has a sharp and rapid drop off.
If humans remain incapable of using their intelligence to regulate themselves, nature will take care of the situation.
The population will decrease.

Have a lottery where you get a thousand dollars just for playing, but if you play you have to take a pill that could be fatally poisoned (1 chance in a thousand it is). Everyone can play as many times as they like.

Then people could voluntarily elect themselves for possible removal to reduce the population and make money too.

Win-win for everyone!

Isnt this a great idea?

Question.........................is this the prequel or the sequel to "The Hunger Games"?

Nah, all we have to do is give nature a little more time and things will take care of themselves. Sooner or later all our antibiotic's will stop killing what kills us, a major infectious disease will wipe out a huge chunk of the population and all will be right with the world.

There is no overpopulation to begin with.

Why are we a society that isn't blinking twice about proposals to murder people?

The Monkeys have ALWAYS known deep down that life, especially human life, is incredibly cheap on this wet rock. That's why greed and power are celebrated as success and religions with a second chance in an afterlife are so popular.

The solution to 'overpopulation' is for the collective to take on the responsibility of finding something productive to do for each and every one of Momma's little bastards.

If We educate our spawn and demand personal responsibility from them, unwanted pregnancies won't have to be 'dealt with', they won't happen in the first place. Demanding personal responsibility without FIRST focusing on education and productivity is pointless and a waste of time.

What monkeys do or don't do is completely irrelevant to the conversation of society.

Relying on "The collective" to do something is a sure way of ensuring nothing ever gets done. Because when we place responsibility on "the collective" we take it off ourselves.

Put responsibility on the individual. Wake them up to their responsibilities to themselves. To God. To family. To their neighbor. And most of the problems our society has right now will take care of themselves.

Ironically, it's religion that teaches individuals these responsibilities and morals. Which is why you will never succeed without God.

You seem awfully confident about that.

Why wouldn't he? He is right. We underutilize the resources we have now.
