We all know that Liberals deserve ridicule. This is a great example of their stupidity and silliness.

Maybe Christopher Nolen should have made Dunkirk a Gay Musical in order to appease the politically correct Moon Bats.

You can't make this shit up.

Dunkirk is a great movie but there aren’t enough “women” or “people of color” in it, according to a review in USA Today.
The movie – with a cast including Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, and former One Direction singer Harry Styles – has been given a slew of five-star reviews for its vivid, nail-biting depiction of the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from Dunkirk in 1940.

But though USA Today’s reviewer praised it too, he couldn’t resist giving it a little rap on the knuckles about its shameful lack of diversity and equality:

The trio of timelines can be jarring as you figure out how they all fit, and the fact that there are only a couple of women and no lead actors of color may rub some the wrong way.

Sorry I misspelled ridicule in the title. The edit function does not allow changes to the title.

This is what was actually said:
"Dunkirk is also one of the best-scored films in recent memory, and Hans Zimmer’s music plays as important a role as any character. With shades of Edward Elgar’sEnigma Variations, the melodies are glorious, yet Zimmer also creates an instrumental ticking-clock soundtrack that’s a propulsive force in the action scenes.

The trio of timelines can be jarring as you figure out how they all fit, and the fact that there are only a couple of women and no lead actors of color may rub some the wrong way. Still, Nolan’s feat is undeniable: He’s made an immersive war movie that celebrates the good of mankind while also making it clear that no victory is without sacrifice."

This is your big complaint... Are you fucking serious you idiot...

The evacuation of mainly British troops from Dunkirk, code named "Operation Dynamo", was almost a miracle rescue.

It involved white British, French, Belgian, and Canadian soldiers who were fleeing the advancing white German army.

How you could work colored soldiers into the film and stay historically accurate is beyond me? ..... :dunno:

Almost sounds like he's taking a bit of a shot at anyone who would complain about the lack of women and people of color.

A very very very very very stupid thread. a good example of why we ridicule conservatives.

Who cares what some whiny retard from USA Today thinks about the lack of diversity in the movie? It looks to be an awesome movie and I am pretty excited to see it.

Isn't this type of reverse racism & EXTREME political correctness the kind of thing that will help Trump get re-elected?

The arrogance that people who haven't seen the film feel free to bash the writer. From the description the movie isn't 3 hours of Harry styles sitting on a beach .

Who knows what other settings are in the movie .

Oh a lot of people care about lack of diversity in a Movie. MOST of them couldn't tell you where Dunkirk is or why it's movie material tho...

LOL!

What part of "the fact that there are only a couple of women and no lead actors of color may rub some the wrong way" don't you understand?.

Only a Libtard Moon Bat would even think to mention something like that for a movie about a historical event that was fought by White males. Political correctness bullshit and then you idiots wonder why we ridicule you. You didn't even see what was wrong in the write up, did you Moon Bat?

You didn't see the movie or apparently read the review. There's three stories that end up merging at Dunkirk .

So if 1/3 of the movie is in London, would there possibly be say a woman around !?
