Does wonders for the body, doesn't it?

I don't get enough sleep during the week, that 6 am alarm clock Monday-Friday SUCKS! :evil:

I am a night owl at heart.

So on the weekends I like to stay up late, and sleep in late.


What's your average hours of sleep a night?

I got a solid 8 last night, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......................................
 
I just heard something, don't remember where, that said that if you get an extra hour of sleep a night, you'll live a longer and healthier life. (So like 9 hours is now better than 8). I guess I'm fucked. I try to get to bed before midnight, and then wake up shortly after the sun comes up. I can't sleep when the sun is shining. But even trying to sleep at night is pure hell. I usually wind up getting maybe six hours of normal sleep... maybe.

I generally go to bed somewhere between 10:30 or 11:00. If Mrs. BBD gives me that look, I go right off to sleep. If she is feeling like making some history, It's after midnight when I get to sleep. (10 minutes for sex and 50 minutes of saying "Thank you".) I usually get up somewhere around 6:30. For the most part, I sleep really great and I dream alot - really fun dreams. I wake up everyday well-rested and ready for that first cup of coffee and ready to take on the world.

You forgot to include the 30 minutes it takes for the Viagra to start working.
 
I get roughly 8 1/2.

It isn't hard to do. Every day is broken down into the exact same number of hours.
 
Probably around 5 1/2 to 6 hours, after having my son that is what I got used to. My body won't let me sleep 8 hrs anymore. And I forget what sleeping in is.
Yesterday I had hoped my son would sleep in because he went to sleep two hours later than usual, but instead of sleeping in he woke up an hour and half early. :lol:
 
i get 5-6 a night....been that way for 30 years....if i sleep till 7....thats sleeping in for me...im so used to getting up at 4:45...that if i laid down at 2 i would be up at 5...

Had the same experience with my twins when they were little. Now they're 15.

Don't worry. The sleeping in ability will come back to you. And him.

Actually, it will become a problem with your son about the time he starts school, during the week you'll have to pull him out of bed by his feet. Saturdays you will sleep till 9 am and then wonder when the f*ck he'll drag his raggedy ass out of bed. Not usually before noon or 1 pm, once he's a teenager.

Meanwhile, you have shit to do, like vacuuming, laundry, dusting, cleaning, dishes, yada yada yada....so, you pull out the vacuum FIRST. Get that out of the way, and he'll crawl out of bed~~cranky~~very cranky. BUT...he will be awake and out of bed! :D

I get 6-7 a night usually. I'm a night owl at heart, but have to be up by 0500 or 0600 during the week. :(

I feel best when I've had 8 or 9 a night. Anything more makes me feel sluggish, anything less makes my eyes feel gritty and painful and I am exhausted. Which is my normal status during the week. ;)

I had to deal with a person who was continuously late. Always had an excuse for not being on time. Claimed that there just wasn't enough hours in a day to do it all.

I don't know about you all, but every day has the exact same number of hours and last time I checked, time moved at the same sedate pace it always does.

People claim all kinds of health issues and then want to blame them and their inability to pay for them on insurance agencies????

i work with a few people who are always 5 min late punching in.....one guy who was always here at 7:05....they moved him to 7:30....he was now punching in at 7:35....and yet management never gets on these people....

They say chronic lateness is symptomatic of anger issues, btw.

I sleep 0-6 hours per night.
