A Foreign Assault On America

First you need to repeal the First Amendment. Isn't that the goal, to silence people? Outlaw their ideas and opinions, and especially the right of the people to assemble and petition the Government for a redress of grievances? That's what makes you and others like you fascists!

Many of us have taken the oath to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. Be aware, We the People will stand up to power, legally, with the good will of an independent judiciary, protecting the Rights of The People to stand up to power misused, and to protect those whose very existence is threatened by the callous disregard, fear and hate mongering of the New Right.

You are free to utilize the First Amendment, however there are certain conditions that require a permit BEFORE such protest is to be held

1) A march or parade that does not stay on the sidewalk, and other events that require blocking traffic or street closure
2) A large rally requiring the use of sound amplifying devices; or
3)A rally at certain designated parks or plazas

The First Amendment does not allow a demonstrator to prohibit another individual's freedoms or rights, such as blocking traffic on a bridge or the flow of pedestrian traffic in a mall without a permit granting the demonstrator that prior right to be there. Likewise, confronting an individual in an aggressive manner, damaging public property, setting public fires is not a protest protested under the first amendment.. that is called vandalism or rioting. Such individuals of aggression are commiting a crime and are to be removed and treated as such by the proper authorities. Educate yourself on those laws surrounding your right to demonstrate before making a blanket statement based on ignorance.

What you say is true, as long as permits issued by the government are not denied by fiat, or restricted as did the Bush Administration, placing anti war protesters in fenced areas blocks from his presence.

In fact vandals are arrested; most protests are by people who may be loud, and may carry signs, but are not disaffected and predisposed to light fires, turn over cars or loot businesses. Those vandals are people who are attracted to crowds, as we have seen whenever a professional team wins a championship.

The fans are like the protesters, the vandals are not fans, they are malcontents, petty criminals and disaffected youth and adults who never grew up; many urban areas have a floating population of school dropouts, societal dropouts, occasional workers, drug users, hooligans, and street people.

Lumping them all together is a lie, and of course lies and Big Lies are the meat which sustains the Right Wing.

You stupid fucking asshole, when did losers / liberals like you stop giving a shit about your fellow americans, and insanely embracing the lunatic policies of the national democratic party which were diametrically opposed to this country? Let me explain some modern history, dimwit:

By the late 1950s the democrats realized that american citizens, especially white ones, were no longer voting for them, so they began to try and buy votes by creating public employee unions, part of a plan to construct a base of identified grievance groups on whose fears they could prey upon.

Building upon that foundation - which was EXACTLY what the founding fathers warned the country not to do; i.e. purchase votes with handouts, they realized they had found the one method that could sustain their existence despite their adherence to policies no one in the US wanted - buy votes any way they could.

But there weren't enough people in the public employee unions, so those bastards decided to import people from outside the country - impoverished, brown/blacks from the 3rd world unlike the more conservative northern european whites who were the backbone of the US, and were supportive of the independent, self-reliant belief system not dependent upon government largess that the dems needed to expand.

The only problem was that by importing massive amounts of poor people, it would severely damage the financial foundation of the country, and would displace large numbers of native american poor out of their jobs by lowering salaries - but that was not important to the dems - only staying in power and retaining a populace wholly dependent upon them was, so they changed the immigration laws in 1965 to shift the focus on central/south america.

That plus a huge decline in the enforcement against the presence of illegals has been unconstitutionally used by the dems to flood the country with uneducated poor who they expect will support them in the long run and be beholden to their planned large government programs.

Given how much horrific damage to the country's poor and middle class has occurred because of the national democratic party's agenda/platform to retain power at any cost, how come liberals like you do not want to see them arrested, indicted and punished for these crimes against the country?

Do you have the brains to even begin to understand what I've written here?

This has nothing to do with the 1st Amendment. Zero.

Denial is a defense mechanism which never works.

Nope, a clear statement of fact. There is no connection to freedom of speech, establishment of religion, nor freedom of the press in this matter.

"... the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Try again. And as for standing up to power, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

Is that a hope for violence? Are you that fucked up?

I did not say that it is. Why do you people hallucinate on such a constant basis?

Your are not a Constitutional scholar

You have no clue who or what I may be, so don't make silly statements.

and there is no way to infer that We the People include only citizens of the United States.

How thick of you. It can be nothing else, save for those attempting to make it say something it does not. The language is crystal clear.

But even if your statement were true, the children of the undocumented born in the US are citizens, and are protesting, and are seeking to petition the Government and have the absolute right to do so.

Indeed, but we are speaking against a move by the Mexican government in favor of those here illegally, not those born here. Do keep up.

Your use of the Preamble as if it is law is incorrect, it is an introduction to the Law of the Land, and exists to frame those laws with a vision of how they are to be used. It is also a Mission Statement for all those in power to employ.

That is abject nonsense.

Read the words, and maybe you might, possibly, be able to comprehend how vile are the policies, tweets and overall behavior of the man you voted for POTUS,

"The Preamble is the opening statement to the United States Constitution. The preamble explains the reasons why the Framers of the Constitution made our government a republic. By doing this, the founding fathers replaced the Articles of Confederation. The Preamble along with the rest of the Constitution was written over a period of about 6 weeks. The Preamble helped explain why the Constitution was written. However, it is not the law."

"Lumping them all together is a lie", Yet how often do I hear the left try to produce a racially interpreted sign found amongst a protest in order to lump all demonstrators who associated with the Tea Party as racists. Yes we have heard that "lumped together" before, it's just very interesting to sit back and hear it coming from the other side. A side who may agree with the negative tones being vocalized from a megaphone, but then quickly flips and say they wouldn't associate with the rhetoric of "blowing up the White House" or the physical confrontation against a Trump supporter while calling for First Amendment rights. Interesting, I can't recall a single fire being set or businesses vandalized / looted, car windows smashed when protestors from "the right" didn't agree with certain policies coming from a Democrat president.

I'm editing your post into paragraphs, not for content but for readability:

1. There is no left, per se. There are degrees on the left and on the right, generally the Left supports The People and the Right supports the Power Elite. Each degree have moderates, radicals or revolutionary sets, and of course the lunatic / idiot fringe.

2. My post did not allege anything remotely close to calling the TP racist, for the reasons noted above, a certain amount likely are, as are some on the left.

3. The words and actions of a minority number, or a singular activity or remark, do not define a movement.

4. I described the lunatic / idiot fringe on the left. Do you deny there exists similar personalities on the far right?

We the people: This phrase means all the citizens of the United States of America. Even though the Constitution was written up by some of the most well-educated men of the new country, the rights given under the document were given to all American citizens.

LOL, you're not only a fool, you are an intactable fool

I thought he did a wonderful job articulating what I would have liked to be able to tell you.

I understand, are you claiming you've taken and passed ConLaw, and are an expert on all Constitutional Issues? There are a number of those who make claims such as you and billy, and as someone who has taken and passed ConLaw, I have a different take on the opinion expressed by billy and supported by you.

But thanks so much for sharing.

One used to be able to "read" for the Bar exam, and be licensed to practice law.

Later, it was discerned that there was far more money to be made by charging for mandatory classes. Oh, those pesky lawyers.

My Grandfather clerked for a Federal Judge, when offered his bar ticket he said, "no thanks", like him I discovered that I didn't like lawyers, and chose a different path. Some of those I knew who went to the dark side are still working, I've been retired for 12 years.

Intelligent choice.

A dear old friend of mine (a judge) said "they lower the standards for admission to the law school" he went to "to get more students, the money" and after that it basically went to shit. When the standard for the entrance exam was lowered the ethics of the profession dropped substantially.

I took the LSAT, did you? I took it in 1972, it may have changed since that time, but I suspect not substantially; it's more likely and changes were made in order to make the test more reliable (able to provide stable and consistent results) and valid (able to measure what it was developed to measure).

It was my dear friend who told me his thoughts about the degradation of attorneys ethics when I asked him what he thought the reason was. My friend graduated law school in the 50's. This view of his thoughts transpired during a conversation about the pussy and wimp attorneys and the corrupt judge that denied people the basic rights as citizens of this country are supposed to have in the court. The lil' corrupt prick judge that most attorneys were afraid of because he was so corrupt was ultimately tossed from the bench by the people in the early 90's. Leftist dems and those of the same type church memberships and views felt sorry for him. They gave the dethrone lil' prick who claimed he was god when he was on the bench a job in a separate area of the courts in a different location in the state after some years had passed.
