It has been claimed by several liberals that during the Bush years the Republicans had complete control of Congress.

Here are the Congresses and their numbers.

107th United States Congress - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

108th United States Congress - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

109th United States Congress - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

110th United States Congress - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

At no time did the Republicans have 60 Senators. In fact in 107th and 110th Congress the dems controlled the Senate. In the 108th Congress the Republicans had 51 Senators and in the 109th Congress they had 55.

It has been stated by numerous Liberals on this board that in 2009 and 2010 the Dems did not have control of the Senate with 59 Senators.

So as can be seen the Republicans never had complete control of Congress during any year of the Bush Presidency.

Anyone that has made the claim that the Republicans had complete control of Congress under Bush is simply wrong and having been told of the numbers and continuing to make the claim becomes a liar.
