It's just the one time of the year when everyone is generally happy. And I usually get to see lots of family around Christmas.

the laptop. Well, if you want to get serious about it, the best gift was being able to see all my family, including my brother Jeff who I haven't seen for a couple years.

a video camera when I was... 16, 17, maybe? I had been asking my parents for one forever.

As late as possible, but about 8 AM today.

I get to stay home and do nothing. No finals, no homework, no nothin'. Just vegging the whole time.

Not really, but that's definitely a high point.

An 80GB USB hard drive (external), sweats, 3 lbs. of Skittles (excessive, isn't it?), "Return of the King" (extended), shoes, and probably a few things I'm forgetting.

Nothing special. Just assurance of a wife, a couple of kids, and a job that provides for the family at some point down the road.

No special time. I just keep my eyes open and grab up whatever I think somebody I know would like. About 3 days before Christmas, I figure out what people I've missed and buy them all something generic.
